Cutting the hatch ends.
I dithered on whether to use the jigsaw or a template and router.
It came out fine. Even in the curve it was a near-90º cut. I think this is the secret: A good stiff blade, a perfectly scribed line and to go slooooow.

Working on doors. Here's the layout:
And the door stop and seal:
I was hoping to get away with a 1/4" spacer but Trim-Lock says 25%-50% compression. I think I'm at about 30% with an extra 1/8" added in.

I've been dragging teardrops for fifteen years and during that time period, I bookmarked manufacturers when I would stumble upon them. Most of those links no longer work.
Vistabule, So-Cal, TC Teardrops, and Camp-Inn are solid companies that have been around for at least a decade and have...
"Unless stated otherwise, trailers only are covered by a 12 month limited manufacturer's warranty from the original date of purchase." And it's limited to paint, tires and straps.
For a $24,000 inflatable camper?
I'll stick to our teardrop.

Simplicity is a good thing.
We use a 3-gallon steel weedsprayer painted black. The hose is about 6' and has a garden nozel. If the sun doesn't warm it up enough, we cook up a coffee-pot of hot water and dump it back in.

Here's how I'm solving the bike rack on this new build:
I'll be welding a vertical reciever just forward of the tongue box and then modifying a rack style bike rack.

Have you solved your problem?
Here's what I'm doing on my new teardrop:
The goal is so I can remove the coupler to make it theft proof but you could have any length coupler made up.

Have you considered how close the front corners will be to your tow vehicle in a tight turn?
The other issue I see is that it appears the axle is nearly centered. The rule (somewhat of thumb) is 60/40% –the tow vehicle needs to support about 60% of the weight or otherwise, the trailer will...
Those panels look great. They seem to have dropped off of Amazon. What did you pay for them? I'm focusing in on Renogy's flexible panels.
I think LiPo batts must have gold plates...

Here we go (again).
It's all .120 2" tube.
Here's the removeable coupler:
No more leaving the teardrop in camp and wondering how hard it would be to defeat the coupler lock.
Here's what she'll look like:
The skeleton's are nearly finished:

I drop from 22 MPG to 18 MPG pulling my 1300 pound teardrop with my Taco. I'm just back from a three-week 2500 mile trip to the four corners and never wanted for gas. If you're going to haul an extra jug or two fill it with water, not gas. And if you put it on the roof, that too will eat your...
