Not having select shift is a real PITA. Why Ford would ever offer a full size truck without it is beyond me. ?

Falcon tow/haul. Adjust setting when towing and hauling, set to normal for street. New rear leaf pack, or an add a leaf, but I'd lean towards a new multi leaf pack. Maybe Billy 6xxx series if available but I don't think the rears have an adjustable dampening setting.

Re read his post man. I don't want to be a ******** but he has a 180° stat and upgraded intercooler and an aux oil cooler. And as a Canadian I can even say those temps he towed at aren't hot

You can't get an STX for under 40 grand here. XLTs start at 50. I'm not sure on the GM, but I'd hazard a guess it's the G80 still.

Did you end up putting on a higher class hitch? And if so, is the Impreza even rated for a higher class hitch and any towing? I was under the impression the hitch they had was meant for accessories like bike racks.

How fine is the resolution on your multimeter? I'll check my 2014 later but I doubt it's the same set up, especially as mine didn't have the OEM tow package. The amperage from the truck to the trailer battery would be pretty low as the wire size is tiny I think, and those fridges are power hogs...
