Very Cool- Lightwieght vs. Strength will always be your battle. I would make sure it stays together first, then think of how to keep it light. Nothing quite like an ultra light broken trailer. Drew

Everything sounds good. I would brace the floor like you mentioned, either would work but the IXIXI would be stronger. Lighter gauge tubing would work with all the triangulation you'd have going on. I would insulate the floor as well. It makes great sense. You are wanting to sleep inside this...

Brian- I would go with the 8000 all day long, and really get a few good shackles, and a good pulley block... there isn't much you wouldn't be able to get out of with a setup like that. Nothing like a winch to give me confidence to go a little further before I get REALLY stuck...:rolleyes...
