Well I have heard of people running the Donaldson AIS on the obs fords, but unfortunately of all the forums I've seen talking about it, nobody did a write up - so that's a bummer...
Just curious, what intake/filter are you talking about using? Links?
Haha I was thinking the same thing. I usually use bleach to sanitize the RV tank twice a year, but only using a fresh new (small) bottle. Those AquaTabs are cool, but never actually used any, just have them for backpacking and emergencies.
Curious why you say a multi-stage filter isn't...
Thanks Seabass! I sent them a message and will probably follow up with a call since I have my hitch starting tomorrow. I also sent out a message to these guys, since I saw a pic and a post from vandominator13 over on the 'camper' discussion forum. This also seems like a very real possibility...
I agree here, mostly. I think simple multi stage (maybe 5) filtering pre and post tank in combination with chlorine or UV (possibly just in the tank itself). RO seems cool and fancy and all, but too complex and slow. I imagine not wanting to spend a day to fill up a tank. After all, what do...
On another note - I'm also racking my brain still about what to do with the center console situation. I never posted pics but I did mount a headliner rack (basically where the visors go) and used that as a base to mount 6 of the 9 new gauges. With the extra future mods, I will be looking at an...
This is an approach I have certainly thought about. I did contact FWC and Phoenix. I didn't really like the way FWC approached my questions and desires of a 'dream build'. They seemed very main stream and not very flexible or willing to do any special requests. Phoenix; however, basically...
Following - as I REALLY want to do this as well
I was considering the Donaldson AIS also as it's the best one out there - But even with the fender trimming I still have read somewhere there was clearance issues with the hood??
Can you elaborate on what the trimming mods are?? I wonder if...
I sure do love this place! Went to look at a camper yesterday but it had a fair enough water damage. I think tomorrow I will be visiting the S&S shop since they have several on site apparently, and aim to find out about their construction and to see if that is a viable route to go considering...
Hey all. So this is sort of piggy backing of a previous thread, but I wanted to start a new one since its not specific to pop-up's

After doing some looking and research, I'm back to the drawing board of...
I'm assuming its just a pain type product? Does it work for hi temps? I thought you put some on the exhaust right? But just wondering long term durability. I wish I would have done something different for my engine. Some of the paint is already coming off and it was a high temp too...
I agree..just due to electronics. My dad just got a new ram 3500. Its a awesome rig, but you know they dont even have a CD slot anymore???? Its either sat, phone, or radio.
SSDiver5 - i gotta poke some fun at the 2wd! My ex had a 2wd Jeep....I always wondered why Jeep would even offer a...
The details.....
Ok so again the above was decided based on the following needs:
Wide range of climates - from very cold to very hot
Need to be highly mobile - not necessarily desired, although fun and exciting, but out of simple need to make sure I can have income
Desire to be outside, go...
In other news, I think I have additionally figured out a reasonable solution to the living situation/problem. At least possible. First, a list of potential options I had considered (and mostly this is for others to see what and why I came up with my current plan, since I'm sure others are in...
Well it's been a bit now. Still in love here of course haha. Though we'll see what the winter brings. Work is quite challenging in terms of differences from the west. Granted, salal up to your eyeballs and walking logs over 50' off the ground doesnt exist, but it is difficult in a different...
