Well I tried to run my Diesel Heater in -10F temperatures in St. Louis last week, but my Pecron 600LPF doesn't work below freezing temperatures. So here's my fix for when my Pecron Lithium Power supply is frozen.
I installed a bypass switch to my truck's cigarette lighter, so that it stay's...
It's very cool how Phoenix pop-up campers fit a toilet/shower and kitchen in such a small camper. A hot shower in my camper would be wonderful on those cold days.
Winch:
Warn VR EVO 10 ton. Being a farm boy I grew up using come-alongs and winches quite a lot. Since we were always driving around in the fields taking care of cattle and crops, we quite often got our trucks and occasionally a tractor stuck. I also use them often to clear roads from fallen...
It's -12 Degrees F or -25 Degrees C this morning in Missouri. It's a great day to test the Diesel Heater!
Only one problem, it didn't work!. My Pecron Power supply only works down to -20 C. Good thing I'm not camping today!!!
Keep your powder dry and your Lithium Power supply warm!
Brrrr...
It's pretty cool as it displays temperature and humidity also. I just leave it plugged in to the USB plug.
I can't get the link to work, but here is a screenshot from Amazon.
It’s a bit cold in St.Louis this weekend so I figured I’ll test out the diesel heater. 15 degrees F outside and 68 degrees in the camper.
Also testing for Carbon Monoxide and so far all is great.
They start their life as an E350 Ford Turtle top Shuttle bus. Then they get converted to 4x4 using Ford OEM Truck parts. Next is the lift. I think this would be a great Overlanding Platform, with some 40's on the corners.
The flotation tires Yellowstone uses are over 4 ft tall and 2 ft wide...
This is off subject, but Yellowstone's Snow Coaches would make a great Winter Overlanding Camper!! I need to visit Yellowstone in the winter!

Camper Leveling:
Low tech 2"x6" wood blocks tied together with bungee. I pull up to the most level spot, look at the gradient on the Gladiator Dash, and put the number of blocks I need under the low tires. Cheap and easy.
Storage bags:
Harbor Freight $7 Tool Bags. They are cheap, durable and the right size to store in my cabinet or under the seats. It's handy to pack them in the house, and bring them in the camper. I use one for the kitchen items (hot plate, coffee pot, dishes, utensils, paper towels), one for...
Cool idea to store propane canisters in PVC Pipe. You could skip the nice metal caps and just glue on a PVC cap on the bottom and leave the top one loose. They usually fit pretty tight anyway.
Big storage:
Kobalt rolling tool boxes fit almost perfectly in the back of the Gladiator! And they kept my cloths and food goods dry on rainy/snowy ski trips to the Rockies. That is before I built the camper.
