Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

My little lithium power supply doesn't work in single digit temperatures, so I can't use it to start my diesel heater in the camper. When it's this cold, I run an extension to my Cigarette lighter plug on the dash to run the diesel heater. The heater even has a remote control so I can start it...

Thanks for the EXPO ELMO award!! Here's one of my favorite fixes for your reading pleasure: Using pennies for striker plates My lift gate catch needed a striker plate for the locking mechanism. A couple of pennies and some JB weld did the trick and they are holding up great.

I bought the heater through Amazon, and contacted the seller though their ap. Yep, somewhere in this long thread is the detail where I routed the exhaust through the 120v bed plug location. I just popped out the plastic cap on the side of the truck bed and replaced it with a 4" metal...

Subject: Chinese Diesel Heater First of all having a diesel heater in the camper is a game changer. Since my truck is too tall for the garage, sadly it stays outside for the winter. Being able to heat it up with the remote control from inside my house or while inside the camper on the top...

Luckily 90% of my river property is above the flood plain. Every 3-4 years my food plot/camping area along the river gets flooded, and I have a few days of cleanup.

It's been a while. For some reason my computer was blocking Expedition Portal, so I haven't been posting. It's been a cold January in Missouri and I'm looking forward to a warm up!

9 inches of rain turned my food plot into a fishing hole. Pictured is my food plot last weekend before and after the rain. My 16 ft. Tree stand is looking pretty short. My truck slid down a 100 ft muddy hill covered with leaves. I’m surprised it climbed out with both differentials locked.

What’s more fun than making fire pits while camping? All you need is a strong back and lots of rocks. I’m tired!!

    Mountain Bikes and Overlanding Rigs

Looks like we've got the opposite problem in Missouri than you do in Oregon and Montana. We have lots of public single track trails that allow Mountain Bikes and now E-bikes but not motorcycles. We have also converted our old train tracks to bike trails that you can ride all the way from St...

The little 6 banger is a tractor in 4Low. I had to drop it into 4L to pull the 5,000 lb. Load up this hill.

    Interior wall/ceiling covering

I used automotive stretch carpet and luan plywood. Alternatively, you can glue the stretch carpet directly onto the camper shell. It's able to be stretched around corners. Also, the carpet is one giant velcro surface that you can attach anything to. I also wrapped the carpet around foam for...
