Ran into the Ken Block #43 tribute Jeep returning home to Maine from SEMA show. Cool Jeep!
I can't seem to stop at a gas station without bumping into another Jeep lover.
This is the owner's 12th build and he put over $90K of aftermarket parts on this beast.
After a year of camping, I'm still on the fence about a vertical door vs. tailgate. The tailgate/hatch is great for a fold out table, but awkward to get in/out of the camper.
What would you guys do, for your build?

I love backhoes for cutting trails, although I'm skeptical about the atv version. I bought this backhoe for my tractor for about $3,000 and have cut 3-4 miles of trails on some steep terrain. I'm as happy as a kid playing with this Tonka toy when I'm on it.
I can't go wheeling without my chainsaw close by. There's always some limbs or trees across the trails. I need to buy one of these chainsaw holders, since mine bangs around in the bed of my UTV. Either that or get one of those small electric chainsaws.
I think the water flow and pressure is perfect for a sink. I did quite a bit of research first. I'm glad I didn't go any larger. This is also small enough to run off a 12v cigarette plug, which is on my Power Supply and in my truck if I don't want to bring my power supply.
I just use this...
Nice to see you putting the camper to good use!! Luckily up North I don't have to deal with Snakes, Tarantulas, or Scorpions this time of year. Have fun, but watch out for the critters.
Well the upgraded faucet / pressure switch pump works great! The 1.3 Gallons per minute Seaflow pump is perfect size for a sink. The pump has a pressure switch built in, so all you have to do is turn on the water faucet and the pump turns on. I like it!
Now I can fold down the faucet, when I...
When I was building my camper, I was going to put windows in the hard sides. I'm glad I didn't, because they would have been below my belt line when standing up in the camper.
For Pop-Up camper designs, the windows can be in the pop-up tent section and not in the hard side. This way the...
I also had a Tundra with an electric roll down rear window. Definitely go with an access window on the front of your camper. It's great to have cab access to your camper. You can even leave your truck's AC or heat running on occasion to heat the camper.
Window's in the camper itself aren't...
Pass through or not?
Definitely pass through for me. In my situation, it is easier getting in and out of my camper through the back seat of the truck versus the tailgate.
I can also use the cab area of my Jeep Gladiator as additional living space in my pop-up camper.
It's plumbing upgrade time. Although I like my cheap Amazon electric faucet, it doesn't fold down. Because of this, I have to pull it out each time I collapse the camper.
I ordered a folding faucet and Seaflo 12v pressure switch pump. I'll take some pics of the installation, when I'm done.
