Moving this is going to require a step deck unless you figure out a way to rig heavy duty hitch to bold onto the front so it could be flat towed

If you are not camping off road or on beaches, then for sure dont bother getting awd , it so hard to find one at a reasonable price

I have an AWD express van and I never miss not having another 20 inches but its just me in the van usually. Also , even with KO2s I can 18mpg on the highway if I keep it under 70 mph I would never trade the AWD for longer wheelbase but I am also off road quite a bit in mexico

I do lots of beach driving in mexico in my awd express van with a locker Could not be happier and the used prices are coming down pretty fast

Baja is exactly the reason I buy KO2s, you can always get a replacement down there because so many people run them. You could probably even find a used one Also a good argument for buying 5 new tires and rotating them all

This is why I never went with taller tires. My vans gearing is too tall as it is. In deep sand reverse gear is so tall I have to make sure I dont have to use it.

Do the front seats have to match? Get one from an old junked volvo semi that has the Bose Ride system , you will be the coolest van guy on the internet

Correct. I would also add that a skinny tire with lots of sidewall and the smallest rim your van will accept You want the footprint of your tire to be long and thin when you air down.
