A couple of more questions. What type of vehicle? Where do you plan on attaching the rack? Besides the roof top tent are you looking at putting anything else up on top. I will leave you with one photograph for some idea's/ input. Here was my 03 Rubicon using 1 1/8" round cross members that...
I usually just walk in to Fastenal, but a quick search on there website found these. By the way you did not mention how long they need to be. Hope this helps. Oh and I have no idea on whether they are rated for the job you are going to be using them for.
Good luck! I am enjoying your...
I think it is worth a try. Home Depot sells some pretty good size aluminum angle iron. I don't think it will bend the Jeep but then again I have no idea what you are trying to tie down. I think if you ever decided to put the hard top on you could always sandwich the hardtop between the angle...
Is the Jeep top on or off. How about attaching a piece of angle iron to the top rail using the stock hard top holes. Then attach the rail to the angle iron.

Here is a quick google search of the angle iron I am talking about.
The Horizon or the Chaser will suite you just fine. Obviously I have the Chaser and Love it. Here are a couple of current photographs with my new Eezi Awn 2200. This tent is huge and serves my family of 4 great. One think I might suggest with either trailer is a hitch extender so you can get...
Hello Jim,
Looks Great, I hope you are making more than one!! :sombrero: Do you have a source for the fan you are using. While you are at it could you post up pictures on how you are going to hook it up.
Thanks
Thanks Mr. Bishi. The pictures are very helpful. Did you play with the placement of the fan. I gather from the photograph that the fan is on the far opening side. This means you have to run the wires for the fan across the bottom of the basket. Did you try it right at the hinge. It would...
I would like to see pictures of your modification mrbishi. This has been one of my big complaints about the TwoZone. The bottom temp. is 32 degree's and the top of the TwoZone is 52 degree's. Thanks for posting up this simple fix. I think I might just open up my Engle and run the TwoZone...

I believe the rack build starts on the bottom of page 4, but I will cut to the chase and say www.joehauler.com. Joe built the rack under my close supervision. He is located off of San Marcos Blvd. Price $1300.00 powdercoated.
Sounds interesting to me! My immediate thoughts would be a break down fabric stretcher with no legs. You could pull it apart when you do not need it. Sounds easy enough to try. I look forward to pictures.
The awning is made by Hannibal. Here is a link. http://www.hannibal.co.za/Default.asp?pageid=543
This is the 2.4M version. I was able to get this thru Atlantic British. You might try contacting them to see if they have any more.(800-533-2210) They were on close out!
Thanks for the...
Thanks, James
I guess I got lucky. They were going to shoot a bed and just added it to the job. Maybe with the down turn in the economy they are willing to add on these little projects. Maybe worth another try. The kicker was they did it before I could get home. I was not expecting a 2...

Phil is very hands on. He sent me a $65 tool I need to install a suspension component. When I was finished I just sent the tool back. No charge. Now that is Great Service.
