With the sliders check your brackets and washers so you avoid the squeak and vibration, I also suggest a delthoff trans skid, they are easy to install and fit and finish is the best. Marcus is a great guy to deal with also, wish he made rock sliders.
Awesome pics, i have always said Canada is the most scenic country, your pics reaffirm that. I wish I could have made my annual trip up there but COVID ruined that.
Sadly, all the add ons will not get you more money, maby less money. Your truck is limited to a very specific market. Look up the KBB value for that truck and start there.
I had a shell on my last truck with a decked system, it worked great and was easily to sleep in. The major downside is your bed fills up with gear quickly to the point it’s touching the roof of the shell. Also, forget about hauling large items with the decked and a shell.
I don’t know the...
all 702 launch edition TRX trucks sold out in 3 hours after being available. So with the initial costs, people are buying them up. When the challenger hell cat came out the prices were insane but have since came down, I bet the same will happen with the TRX. Price wise when your compare the 4...
It’s the the D rated tires that are the issue. i personally would run an 35 inch e rated tire and put a spare under the truck. I have had 7 ram cummins trucks all on 35’s or 37’s, all with kore, thuren or carli suspension.
I won’t run 37’s anymore, not worth it for the added mods you need to...
I see your point, I’m leaving mine until it goes bad though. I bought an agm Napa battery for a four wheeler awhile back, it’s been a damn good battery.
No I wouldn’t change it unless it’s bad. From my experience ram trucks come with very good batteries, I’ve never had an issue. My buddies 06 cummins still has the stock batteries.
The power wagon is designed to flex, the suspension has added joints to achieve this. With front and rear lockers and d rated tires the truck is designed to achieve maximum articulation and traction. The power wagon has no direct competitor at this point. The tremor is a lifted super duty with a...
Yeah I agree I’m very happy with it. The truck is a lifted 3/4 ton with 4:10 gears, 410 hp and 35’s, with that combo what can your realistically expect.
I’ve read about a couple failures on a few forums, but I’ve never seen one in person, I know a few guys with high mileage 6.4 (200k) and they haven’t had a problem. I’ve talked to a few other pd’s that run hemi powered chargers and they have been problem free unlike the ford explores that are...
That’s sucks, I’ve read many posts about a 35 fitting there. I’m just leaving the stock spare tire. If I get a flat I’ll move it to the front and limp it.
I drove across Canada with a 16 penny nail in a Toyo mt while packed to the gills with gear and pulling my Boston whaler... don’t get to...
I fill up as much as my wife’s Tahoe, we both get roughly the same mileage. Take in mind I idle my truck allot, if we stop for gas, food or just run in a store it’s running. on a trip I usually don’t shut it off unless I’m in a place for an hour or so. May sound odd, but after being a police...
Ok I just looked at a recent trip from Peoria il to fish creek Wisconsin area. Hand calculated the fuel used and the amount of miles traveled. I carried 4 people and a truck bed packed with gear. Retrax cover was shut (doesn’t really matter) and yakama overhaul rack was up but no gear on it...
I average 15, the best I get on the highway is 17. About the same as my wife’s Tahoe. The owners manual states 89 octagon recomended, I run 87, so I don’t know if I will get better with 89 or not. I also run 35’s bs the stock 33’s that came with it.
Hey I’m with you, I get bored with stuff and trade it in, life is short enjoy it. I have owned a ton of vehIckes over the years, only one I regret selling is my wife’s 03 rubicon, I miss that badly.
i say ditch the ford, get a ram and see how you like it.
