    WTB: Overland Journal issues

Joaquin - are those Spring 2007 issues the inaugural issue? I can't remember which issue in '07 was the first one. Thanks, Todd Z.

    WTB: Overland Journal issues

You can, but it's not legal. They have advertising in them so they don't fall under the media mail category. Todd Z.

Desert Trip 2022, Tour De Hanksville (UT)

Always love to read the trip reports of your gang! Thanks for taking the time to type it up and share all the photos. This is what ExPo is all about (or used to be). Todd Z.

    WTB: Overland Journal issues

Do you have any particular years/issues in mind? I have some from the 2014-2018? era that I'd be willing to sell cheap. Shipping will probably be a bear if you don't mind that. Todd Z.

Jeep Cherokee Widetrack Revival - with questions for the experts - Stoffregen Motorsports

Glad to find another one of your buildups - I always love reading through your threads, although they make me feel pretty lazy on the amount of stuff I get done on my truck! I'm a Ford guy and I'm not sure I've ever heard of a 4350 carb. We use Truck Avengers on our Broncos in Baja and...

    Old man-big brakes

Blaine's Big Brake kits work well and are pretty popular. Here's another one I really like: https://www.quadratec.com/products/12700_4400.htm?gclid=CjwKCAjw7IeUBhBbEiwADhiEMei7TbURvC4zLdIviMfJmeoWMJBJF1afwF5I8GH1bJcZ-me-D9RSdhoC6SMQAvD_BwE The Dynatrac kit is great because you re-use your...

WTB Misc. Electrical: wire, bus bars, fuse blocks, circuit breakers, switch panels, connectors, heat shrink, etc.

Here's a sampling what all I rounded up this morning. I think I have some heat shrink for you as well. The wire on the spools is 16 AWG. I think I can fit all this (and more) in a USPS large flat rate box. Todd Z.

WTB Misc. Electrical: wire, bus bars, fuse blocks, circuit breakers, switch panels, connectors, heat shrink, etc.

I'll take a look this weekend. I think some of it is either 14AWG or 16AWG. I might have some other AWG as well. I was thinking I should take pics of everything I have and I could just throw it all in a flat rate box for you and you could have it for the cost of the box. I also have some...

    Larry's 1978 K10

Looking good, Larry! An amazing amount of work there! So that piece that broke off the fender was originally spot-welded onto the main fender? Is there enough room to get your hand behind it to get the nuts into position for all those bolts? And that close-up shot of T&B ty-raps cut flush...

WTB Misc. Electrical: wire, bus bars, fuse blocks, circuit breakers, switch panels, connectors, heat shrink, etc.

I've got some spools of wire of various colors that I'll never use. A distribution block from a Chevy truck firewall. Maybe a few other odds and ends. Todd Z.

Radio repair recommendation in Phoenix area?

As a follow-up to my thread from 11 years ago, I'll echo what Oscar Mike Gulf Yankee says - send it back to the factory instead of looking for a local repair facility. My problem ended up being the battery, as I recall, and I've replaced at least one since. I think I bought my HT about 20+...

K5 Camper. My offroad home away from home.

Fumble fingers - I meant southwestern AZ - that terrain looks like the KoFa refuge area to me. A friend sent me your thread over on WTW later this morning so I looked through all your photos and text there as well - saw you met up with our mutual friend Nick at Bouse. Glad the AZ visit was...

K5 Camper. My offroad home away from home.

Truck is looking good with the new lights! I've had other friends with the same reported noises in their 4500s after years of use. Southeastern AZ? Todd Z.

    Larry's 1978 K10

Holy cr@p, Larry! I've never seen this happen to one of these trucks before! Yours is one of my favorite threads on here and this is the last thing I would've expected on your rig! Looking forward to the repair process! Todd Z.

Stainless Steel Brake Lines -- Yay or Nay

I agree with the advice given to the OP regarding his brake line replacement. Speaking from the perspective of someone whose adventure vehicle is over 50 years old, I swapped over to stainless-braided teflon lines years ago on my truck for long-term durability and perhaps some better pedal...
