This is out of the 'Operating Instructions' for the 1017,1217,1417,1617 (PN#380 584 01 96) perhaps our 1017s have different transfer cases? It is easy to miss but that is point 4 to point 6 km/l. So in 'American' 1 to 1.5 mpg better. Or in my case a 7-10% improvement.
