    While on vacation......

See, you are trying to make this about something its not. You are obfuscating to spin the conversation into a different dynamic... There was no insult to the intelligence of rural people here that I read. Plain and simple there are fewer charging stations per mile in rural areas, greater...

    What was your first Jeep?

I liked my '99 WJ, maybe more than I would have liked a Wrangler. As you said, more versatile. Easier to drive on-highway. A real roof I could put kayak racks on. More seating, more cargo. when the suspension needed work, I put in "Iron Rock Off-Road" springs of 2 inch lift, ProComp 9000...

    What was your first Jeep?

Always loved the CJ jeeps from before they were called Wranglers. But li ke a Subaru, I have liked but never owned. Until I was looking for an XJ but found a good deal on a W 99 WJ 2nd gen Grand Cherokee. Drove it to the mountains, lakes, kayaking, camping. Work. Needed work so I upgraded...

Yes I think you're onto something with that old z28. Loved those as well. As soon as I saw your orange truck I went right to 1st Gen Camaro in my mind

All beauts! I'm thinking of that deep dark green the Jeep ZJ first generation Grand Cherokee used to he available in. They also used something like it on '78 Ford trucks, and was widely seen on GM trucks in the early 2000's. Chevy had a nice "Havana Brown" for the Silverado Z71 Trail Boss...

I still dont understand why "two different browns, a beige and some yellow or orange" ever left the color pallet. That and simple metallic dark forest green.

Odyssey Battery - just purchased with old date code

I went to Advance and got my Die Hard, probably a little over 3 years ago. But I bet you are right. There are only x number of manufacturers and they each have different tiers of quality. No matter what sticker gets slapped on them, it's really the tier level that counts for the most

Odyssey Battery - just purchased with old date code

Then I wouldn't pay for a battery that was manufactured 3 years ago, even if I got it for half off. You're looking for another one next year, year after if you are lucky

Yessir. The old ones are veritable Tardis compared to the new ones. Granted my cab is cavernous - I cant reach from driver's door to passenger door to grab something off the other floor or wedged between the seat and door. But yet, seemingly less elbow room on account of thick door cards...

Odyssey Battery - just purchased with old date code

At about 4 to 6 year life expectancy of a "normal" car battery, if Odyssey really is 3x longer lasting, your Odyssey should last at least 12 years. If that's right, it is likely already 25% eaten into that time. Was the coupon for 25% off the battery?

Wish all the manufacturers would bring back step side models. Sure would fix the issue of barely being able to reach over the bed rails of modern trucks. Actually GM and Ford now have step cutouts on thier 2500/250's. Good and helpful

Oh, well. If you're gonna sell it, those are good reasons. I guess we just can't have nice things...good that it went to a fitting buyer.
