Military, first responder who is also a student (or teacher) and single parent who is trading in a competitor's truck with less than 30k miles on it. On the right Tuesday of the week.
Went through this BS with Chevy back when the Trail Boss Custom first came out. Driving Chevy all my adult life, and they would only give me the bigger discount if I traded in a Dodge.
All comes down to them trying to make sure they have a market leg up on one manufacturer or another this...
Admittedly, as I've been reading through this thread, I was wondering why you did not install your second battery in the batt 2 tray underhood. With how you describe the ARB installation, I'm still wondering if I'd have done that differently.
Then again, I don't have an OVRLND for my 14...
Gas was cheap in 2019 and 2018, too, well before the lockdown, sir.
Just a fact. President has and does not have an affect. His or her actions and words can make the fickle market jump or plunge, at least temporarily. Depending on the action and it's far reaching effects, sure
Lucky for us GM owners, I think the crew cabs only that are built in Mexico. The "double-cab" (cab-and-a-half) with the smaller rear passenger doors and 6.5 foot bed, are made in the US. Used to be Fort Wayne. I think it still is so.
Gas was $1.11 a gallon when I was in high school. It was $0.98 then years later. Let's see a little of that, maybe. Otherwise, yes I think you are right about the posturing.
I once was doing donuts in a grocery store parking lot with my piece of crap '97 Camaro. Out in the darkness at the...
I see @AbleGuy 's point. Could these proposed tariffs raise prices across the board by making steel in general or specific parts more expensive? That is possible...
Here's what I know for sure: the price of my brand new stainless steel, US made Leatherman Rebar was a heck of a lot less in...
One thing I noticed while driving in Iceland...a seemingly over abundance of Toyota Land Cruisers. Never seen so many per capita, while seeing so few 4Runners. Given most other vehicles on the island are so small and economical, I would have thought it would be the other way around.
I was...
^^^ I feel like with these GM vehicles and of course other similar ones, there is so little NEEDED, just that some folks feel the need to "deck out" their vehicle. Theres not as much need with these
Ok, that's the newer steelie, correct? Seen them mainly on work T1's. And that's the size BFG I have, if I am not wrong.
The steelies are heavier than similar sized alloys, and the load range C BFG ko2's a bit heavier than highway tires. Probably amounts to a mpg penalty. Leveling the front...
Mine's a K2 pickup (2014-2018/19) but the coilover system is the same. 5.3 and 6 speed with Tow/Haul and Manual modes. I did the Bilstein setup with 33 inch BFG A/T LT load range "C" tires on 17 inch stock steel 7 spoke rims and I absolutely love it. Long over the road trips in all kinds of...
Saw the lava flows and eruptions as we were on approach to Keflavik airport, and again as we drove towards Reykjavik. We did end up renting a car and driving. Unfortunately the road was closed leading off to that way and we couldn't get too close. Only those with press passes, it seems...
Amazing. En route to the airport now, though we only have 4 days and aren't doing anything "remotely" similar. I'd love to, though. Maybe another time. We are doing standard tourist stuff
FWIW, I hate the new Wagoneers compared to the '89 vintage. Those were rugged tanks, with comfort. These new ones are comfort queens with very little excitement or rugged features at all. BO-ring!
