Sorry your experience was different. I had the same experience with FWC at their show room. They treated me as if I couldn't afford one of their campers. No help, they couldn't even answer basic questions regarding their builds. It was awkward. I was more prepared than the sales rep, and this...

here's the tear in my mattress covers.....would I order from them again? perhaps. The price was great, dirt cheap in fact. You get what you pay for I guess. Quality is actually really good, just poor inspection on their part once it was completed they didn't even notice the 2 giant tears. The...

Morning, Over the weekend I finished up the hatches and coroplast. Mattress covers were installed. Unfortunately one of them has 2 giant tears in the stitching. My wife said she can fix it in her sewing machine, but does kind of suck nonetheless. I will email the pics to the business to see...

V2 isn't slimmer, they both are the same width. V2 sits shorter perhaps but not by much. V2 can't do extra height because it is an extruded giant piece, powder coating is required for that due to its size, I imagine you can't fit it in a tank to anodize it so powder coating is the solution...

How Would You Spec It? Ovrlnd Camper

No, I paid the labor install only, I think it was $250? I got an upgraded fan on Amazon for like $230 . Pay them the labor to do it, and purchase the fan of your choice.

if and when you're able to, if you can send a pic of where you mounted your alu rivnuts please. Especially on the corners. It's easy to put riv nuts into the studs, but in the corners it looks more challenging because my giant rivnut tool won't let me insert them into corners due to limited space

Walls are up. Used velcro for now, and it held really good. I really doubt it'll come off. Maybe years from now, thing is on there rock solid. I'll still use aluminum rivnuts eventually, to hold the walls up but mainly, because I plan on using L track outside the walls so the rivnuts will serve...

Hello, Here's an update. Finished up the insulation. 1" foam board, reflectix, and got my walls today. Coroplast in white. The black will be for my ceiling and for the storage benches. Can already tell a major difference inside the camper when I'm working inside of it at night time and it is...

Definitely! Keep in mind this is my first time using them, and the only negative reviews I came across were from people who said they made their covers slightly oversized. But they do state on the site that they add up to 1" per side if need be to make things easier to fit in the cover. At first...

Ohhh, you mean the aluminum angle iron? Yes I know what you're talking about. I never even thought about that part lol. Didn't think it'd be a big deal, but I think that neoprene sticker foam will be good for that. May not insulate much if any, but it'll make it easier on your hands when...

Here's a little update from last night. Used a hot electric knife to cut the mattress. Made it easy, and clean cuts, just the fumes are terrible and I didn't use a mask (yes stupid me don't worry I held my breath during every cut then immediately stepped away to breathe again) I'm working with...

if you don't mind sharing a pic, I'd like to see what you are referring to exactly. Last night I was placing my new 4" mattress up there. I found a website that does custom fitted zippered mattress covers for a very reasonable price. Today I will continue the ceiling insulation on my lunch hour...

Thank you. I will be using the remaining foam board I have left. 1" thick. Still have 1 board left and scraps from the other 2 boards I used. I will have to make some taper cuts towards the ends and towards the metal dowels for proper fitment. I'm using a hot electric knife for my cuts though so...

Morning, was up late last night finishing up the insulation. It is done now in the bottom portion of the camper. Just need to cut the reflectix to size and order my coroplast walls. I'll be taking measurements of the ceiling today to begin making the cuts for the ceiling in the next couple of...

I'll be adding a bit of foam for comfort, not insulation. I have a bed rug that covers the tail gate. I don't think insulating the tail gate will do much if you don't do the rest of the truck bed like skyfree mentioned. I wouldn't worry about insulating it

camping in 10-20 degree weather for me is tolerable. That's about as low as it gets out here in the desert and in Big Bear CA during the winter. A good sleeping bag and my Mr Buddy heater on for a few hrs with an open vent and I'm good to go. My camper also has the velcro on top and bottom to...
