I too am interested in why the Frontier payload is so low. You may be on to something with the Titan "competition." I've asked on the Frontier forum if there might be a marginal component that limits the payload but no ideas. Mostly kids interested in their lighting.
We leave the bed set up permanently in our Casita. Swapped the dinette cushions for a memory foam from Walmart. Cut it with an electric knife to fit the curved back wall. It's very comfortable, light weight and inexpensive.
I've found the waste holding tanks to be more limiting than the fresh. There are few places in Eastern US where you can randomly dump gray and obviously none for black. It might be different in the Far North but in the US you wouldn't want lake water in your fresh tank.(n)
I have about 15K on my 22 SV 4X4. It's been a good truck, mostly. The engine, trans, driving position, fit and finish are strong points. I bought it to tow a small trailer. The tow mode works well but the truck is let down by narrow mirrors and very low payload. It's had a few electrical...
Don't underestimate the value of possible vs pipe dream. The time kids will want to travel with you is limited. A readily available class C will get you 75% of what may be an unachievable ideal.
Deliberately using poor grammar, spelling and avoiding punctuation shows a lack of respect for your readers. Nevertheless, if OP's point was that bankruptcy laws encourage and are utilized by scammers, I agree!
I believe you've asked this several times and AFAIK it's still true that nobody has one and won't until probably 03/24 at the earliest. I don't know how serious you are about getting a new vehicle but you seem to be wasting energy gnawing on the new LC. From what you've posted, price will rule...
We have a Nissan HQ locally so there are lots of them about and they don't have the negative rep they seem to have elsewhere. I've had a 22 Frontier for a year and a half and I've been happy with it. It pulls my small trailer (Casita) well but the payload is only 1160#. I chose the Frontier...
Not much more to say since nobody has one yet. No doubt it will be capable and desirable. The chances of getting one in 2024 for $50k are slim to none. If 4Runners and Broncos are priced too high for you, it seems unrealistic to be dreaming of a new Land Cruiser.
