Since I no longer live, hunt or visit CA unless required to.....I'm happy to give up my hunting spots. The amount of chukar, especially after several years of good water, in and around the town of Trona, CA is astounding. Particularly to the NW of Trona around Searles Valley.

RalleyX, How did the AC work in the heat? We ended up not opting for AC but left space for a retro-fit if needed. We've seen daytime highs around 95 and found ours wasn't too bad if you managed the shades and venting appropriately. Our rig is a lot lighter color tho.... Looks fun, thanks...

If you are like us and 100% of the time you want to be where other people aren't, the choice is obvious.

We paid a lot of money for our truck to take us exactly where we want to go and be able to provide exactly what we need. Seems like a perfect exchange to me. I hope everyone else can do the same for their travel plans and needs.
