Why not V8 ZJ coils, 2in spacer, some extra leaves from another XJ pack, some used lift shackles, an adjustable trac-bar, some decent shocks, and $600 (or more) in the bank? Love the color. silver or the dark blue are on my list when I finally step up to the 97+ XJ.

what year is that 7.3 van, and what all is being done to refresh the motor? Also, what trans came in those vans of that generation? (gas and diesel?)

Love the facelift. and yes, keep the Turbines. Great looking wheels and yiou don't need to go any wider with just 31s.

great pics, and thanks for sharing. what caused the bad idler shaft? Very clever using the stock air filter housing with the swap. Really makes it look that much more clean/factory installed.

that bed style should be an option here in the US (the one pictured on the Hilux above) Full size and mid size.

I've yet to see on on the road, which is surprising. These gas prices are short lived. too many people depend on the high(er) gas prices, and one terrorist attack or major hurricane and we are back to $4-5 overnight.

Funny you mention Jerry....he is a good source. I got his last V6 speedometer cable for my 91. Then I sold it. Bummer.

I can't believe that Land Rover still use air suspension. So much more complex to build/design...which adds cost and things to break, which is expensive, which in turn adds to the already perceived low dependability of Land Rovers. 99% of Land Rovers will never see even a dirt road, so why...

so they were made form 1953-1998. What is the best one to be on the lookout for? Ones that are 25 years old now. Maybe a 1970 or newer with the larger engine? What was the year range of all the different body styes?

Do you know why it was orignially built? Interesting that NASCAR would need a 4wd van, especially since they set it up for better road manners with those heavy duty sway bars. Seems put together well though.
