    I ran 31x10.5 and 33x10.5 BFGs on my 1981 Hilux. Stock gearing. Unless you are gonna regear, stick with 31s, it is night and day difference. These trucks made less than 100 hp when new. Some quality shocks and slightly larger tires will have the truck running about as good as it will get...

    Picked up this 86 22RE 5 speed a few weeks ago. Need to get my other project out of the garage (FJ55) and then its mod time. Just driving it to work a bit to work out any little issue. And it has some.
