Honestly, we have the best options for pickups in the world here in the USA if you are going to travel like that. Any of the full sized three over the last 30 or so years will do it.

It is easier for people to buy from Australia or Japan from the comfort of their own home. There are a few people importing from Europe but not a lot.

If you are traveling up or down the PanAm be aware there is a major movement taking place in Nicaragua right now to oust Ortega. It has been violent from the government side since 4-19-2018, more than 200 peaceful protesters have been murdered most of them young adults but also many children...
I have a good rust free 70-series for sale right now. Well sorted, completely gone through and re-furbished. All work performed on it by me and it is a lot. I sold a 1984 HJ47 pickup back at the first of the year but am now looking to unload my personal DD 70-series. I got other irons in the...
Well here it is, part one of the three part series I am doing on the trip. Obviously this is Baja!
Overland Adventures does Baja!!
My laptop has really been cooperating lately to finish this up. I also decided not to spend to much time being OCD with the music or the video in general.

Rocking truck man, I love it!

So I sold the HJ47 back around Christmas. The PZJ70 I still have but it may be gone soon.
I didn't really do much to the HJ47 besides rebuilt the brakes, rebuilt the front outer axle and fixed the wiring.
The PZJ70 though has pretty much received a full go through. I decided to make it my DD...
Highways is just fine, like anything else really.
Being SWB, SFA and leaf sprung it is a little bumpy around town but I just installed new Terrain Tamer shocks, should help a little.
Overall, it rides like a truck not a car or SUV.
Cheers
