Hi
There are quite a few companies that deal with new and second hand Mogs in the UK probably all of which could advise you on frame stretching possibilities. Mogs are very variable within each model type, so looking at quite a few may help, and Atkinson Vos have possibly the biggest yard with...
Nice truck! Are they 14.00R20 tyres? I've only seen one Tatra up close which was a tour bus, very heavy looking wheel attachment and chassis!

I think this is the same as a MAN Kat 1, the rear axles have a diff in the flattened "pumpkin", but not between the axles. I wonder why the...
I think the angle you can see on reversing cameras mean you won't need that many, and I assume you could use them on a cab monitor when driving and a camper monitor when not. But looking out of the window also works. Truck camper windows are above peoples head height so in the past we have...
Apart from Blissmobil, whose range it seems is expanding, everyone else I've looked at (in Europe) makes what you ask them to.
So you have to pay someone to design and make every piece as a one off unless you do it yourself. Even reasonable labour costs plus reasonable parts costs soon add up...
Hi
I think it's just a hatch with a window then mounted in it, rather than a pre-made one piece thing. So any door/hatch with any window available to you?
:)
Hi
I don't think mine did, or certainly not obviously.
The other thing that probably made quite a difference was we had quite heavy springs on the front from it's previous life. It was very hard at times even on deflated tyres.
Our next truck will be standard suspension with standard ex-army...
I'm fairly sure that others that post in this section are familiar with using it. I only used it once ages ago so I hope it will help to find a date but personally I've no idea how. Or try the Mog section of Benzworld?
Edited- it might also depend on how "manufactured" is defined?
Hi
You could try buying a years access to the Mercedes EPC Net online info tool.
That may help, or ask for someone with access to look up your chassis number if the date is all you want.
You may find it handy for part ID too.
Hiya
We have had ISRI mechanical sprung seats in a Mog which were ok.
They had a big knob you could turn with a kg scale to set the spring at a stiffness to suit your weight or what you wanted it to feel like. Since that was separate to the position adjusters you could have a hard seat or a...
Have you seen these for ideas? All the same wheelbase I think, at 3850 or 3750mm?

Nice truck!
Are those fold down steps on the outside of the rear box? That would be cool.
The rear should hopefully already have been mounted with Merc's three point flexing torsion free design so you could just build up from that. Redesigning, rebuilding and lowering is a lot of work and cost...
Hi
Our ex-Mog had standard 10x20 steel split rims with 395 85 R20 XZls without a tube. Both factory options.
The bead of that tyre is slightly narrower than the rim, so either needs the washing up liquid and bicycle inner tube approach to reseal on inflation that I could never get to work, or...
Hi
There may be space between the inner and outer halves of the Seitz frame (depending on camper wall thickness, or pack the inner blind to suit?) to install some sort of recessed fixing within the wall to attach a metal security grill covering the window space when needed?
Metallic reflective...
