Hiya
I believe Euro bridges are normally 4.5m on main roads. Outside that of course anything applies and varies greatly depending in my view on a countries history. The UK for instance have quite a few people in not too big an area with a lot of old industry, so there are a great deal of old...
Of course it is, since we're only talking about putting a camper on the back of any of these lovely trucks, not how fast we can get how many troops how far away. :smiley_drive:
Hiya
Those vehicle classifications are nicely divided :)
Anything independently suspended will have a relatively short suspension arm (or whatever you may want to call it :)) compared with a beam axle which is why I was wondering what the actual axle droop is comparing an independently...
Hiya
That is a lot of links!
-How different is wheel travel in isolation between a MAN KAT, Zetros, Tatra, Unimog etc? If a rigid chassis Tatra can, purely from how the wheel is suspended, only achieve about the same wheel articulation as a Zetros, then the chassis articulation on the Zetros...

We have a cabover on a U1700, 3250mm wheelbase.
As already said, since you've already fixed the wheelbase I don't think a bigger rear overhang will affect nimbleness. The floor is already a long way up so I doubt going longer will affect the departure angle enough to matter either. If you...

Hiya
Would anyone comment on what happens to any type of ally ladder if it gets bent?
Does it bend? Or just snap? Does it bend back? Maybe no-one has bent one?
Many mounting options seem to rely on them staying straight, I'm just wondering if they bend in use making re-mounting tricky?
Maybe...
Hi
Sorry to hear you are having tyre problems.
I know Atkinson Vos in the UK ship parts and vehicles to many countries worldwide and are Continental tyre dealers. I have bought 14.50 R20 MPT 80 tyres (nice but noisy) from them at a good price, but I did collect them myself :)...
I think the imbalance screws up one of your vehicle batteries quite quickly.
What about http://www.red-bhw.com/voltage-reducing-interconnector-7p-hgv-to-7p-car-socket-1505.html?zenid=el1o4b8sclb38a1lshf30m2vp2
No idea if it is actually suitable though, but you could ask them?
:)
Edit, sorry...
