Does a 230 mile/charge range make you more or less likely to buy a Lighning?

Chevy had a Hybrid Tahoe about 1p years ago. I still see 2 or 3 of them around just in my neck of the woods. I sure wish they had been brave enough to stick it out with that. They would be so far ahead of the curve by now. Then again, GM had the EV1 back in the 1990's. It was the cancellation...

Does a 230 mile/charge range make you more or less likely to buy a Lighning?

Yep Cold and hills will do it to electric. I could * not * use my truck at 115 miles total range

    Portable AM/FM/Shortwave/NOAA/Air band Radio.

20 years I've been thinking about getting one of these.

Does a 230 mile/charge range make you more or less likely to buy a Lighning?

Filling these will likely eventually go as fast as filling a gas tank. Range will increase over the next 5 and 10 years. And if they can make a Jerry can size charger pack that gives you 70 or a hundred miles someday, what would be the difference ce between a future electric vehicle like that...

    1986 GMC S-15

Have a lot of old square s-10's and s-15's in Indiana? I'd love to get one in good condition.

Read the whole thread. Big big fan of full size Blazers. Had 2 1990's full size Blazers, obviously a slightly different animal but overall the same. I finally gave up on them when the frames went. I'm in the Northeast. At times I thought, what the hell is this guy doing, that he keeps...

    Ridiculous descriptions from sellers

My favorite part of the picture is how the bed walls have obviously moved upward while part of the floor has not

How are you guys handling yourselves in strange circumstances off the grid?

How about Cedar chips or something? Anyone have an idea about that?

How are you guys handling yourselves in strange circumstances off the grid?

Well, I was curious enough to google it and found a 10 year old "Ask A Bear" column from Backpacker Magazine. They say it's not a worry... If you use dryer sheets in your clothes, the bear will smell that anyway, and probably associate that with "human", which they want to avoid. It's a...

How are you guys handling yourselves in strange circumstances off the grid?

Bears like the smell of fabric softener? Serious question, as I actually DO keep a sheet in my pack. I'm rarely in bear country

The burden of proof is ALWAYS on the prosecution. Self defense or otherwise

Jeep gives Wrangler 1.5" lift, 35" tires and 4.88 gears..

Ford announced the return of the full-size Bronco? When did that happen? Jeep could have done this at any time instead of juicing up all that chip-heavy technology in the infotainment system. I've used that system, it's really cool and fun, but I think the bigger tires and granny gear are gonna...

"You Can't Get There From Here"; A Definition - Mitch's North Maine Woods Trip Report

Nice write-up, XJ. I've been wavering, should I fix up my old 99 WJ and do a run like this, or junk it and stay with my 14 Sierra. This makes me think twice. A lot of those roads and trails look plenty wide enough for a mostly stock full size pickup. That maybe I could get into and out of a lot...

Jackery 1000 vs dual battery vehicle set up for running ARB fridge.

Uh, does this go for internally mounted comms and external mounted auxiliary and camp lights, in your view?

I have a jump starter- should I still carry jumper cables?

I'm thinking more and more to pick a jump starter up. Seems prudent, especially if you are caught out there alone. But to be fair, jumper cables dont take up much space at all, and even they wont work if the battery is dead to the point it just wont take a charge. That point is just lower for...

    Interesting take on vehicle modification

I don't think anyone here says that you would be criminally responsible SOLELY based on the fact you are modded. But if your mods contributed to the cause or the damage, that's on you, especially they are beyond what the state allows. Criminal charges are serious for sure but not the only thing...

Mounting Options for Front Aux Lights

If you are looking for the one that mounts to the tow-hooks, I checked the website and saw nothing for our generation GM trucks (mine's a '14 GMC Sierra). Perhaps the stuff from 2010 fits. I dont know
