My guess would be this is happening because you still have the factory battery and it's running out of enough juice in a couple hours to trigger the low voltage setting on the fridge. I believe you would need to put a deep cell battery in place of your factory battery but I may be wrong.
Diesel-
+ Diesels are just cool. Tons of power. Tons of torque. Fun to drive.
- massively greater price over a similar gas model. If the gas mileage difference was the only variable it would still take well over a decade to recoup this diesel option price. Other variables are, oil changes...
I wish we had a choice for a truly small truck also...anyone remember when Mahindra tried to bring theirs here? The price point was around $20 grand from what I remember. Of course we couldn't allow that to happen :rolleyes:since they probably would have sold like hot cakes and severely hurt...
I don't own one and never have but there has to be a way to improve on the condensation if it's so terrible. I mean how bad is it?? It can't be so bad that it is costing customers. What about adding a vapor barrier of some type between the inner walls and the frame? Just something to slow...
Oh yeah I believe the Tundra frame is more than adequate. I guess I didn't convey what I meant in my post. Was only trying to say that a fully boxed frame is probably better than a hybrid style as far as strength goes. The booty bounce part was a joke, hence the smiley face, sorry...
Nice! An thanks for the great reply. It's only me and I still can't decide on what cab configuration. I like the 8' bed but yeah 6.75' is pretty good. It will be a gas though as I just don't need a diesel or the expense of it.
I do believe the others are using SAE standards and have been for a few years now since 2015. Toyota was the first to adopt it in 2013.
Also I think the only place the Tundra is weaker is possibly in it's hybrid style frame. Look at some videos of that "booty bounce" :) The LC frame I...
I based my comment on the prices I found on the Hallmark website. There version of a shell with similar options added that come standard on a FWC shell, would put it about double the price of the FWC shell. I am glad you are happy with yours, they are very nice!
Well I don't know where you are located and it might be a little big (or nice and comfy) for the two of you but I have a 10x14 Kodiak that I don't use anymore. It's virtually brand new as I only used it 3 times, then the time got away from me and now my kids are off to college. So I will prob...
Wow, didn't realize the Hallmarks were so much money. For over double the price for comparable shell models with options between Hallmark and 4WC, I can probably put up with condensation. Are they really worth over double for a Hallmark??
Nice ride. I also have a 2016 Trail. Bought it new with 1 mile on the clock. I practically drove mine from the dealer to Discount tire and traded the stock tires for KO2's. Then put sliders and skid plates on it. All I have done since is tint, rago fab molle panels in the rear windows, the...
Aah, ok, I miss understood the earlier post then. I thought you bolted bars to the trailer first and then the box to the bars. So that box should work as a direct bolt-on. Sweet! Look forward to more of your build/rebuild.
I also have a 1967. I am having trouble finding someone to...
