    Treeline Aspen

I have tried to search so I apologize if there is another thread about this. I am in the process of researching all the tents and came across the Treeline Aspen tent. Their website says it is currently not available in the US but I'm sure this is only temporary. There is not a lot out there...

Ditching my RTT; Need ideas on Camp Set-ups - Post Pics!

I have a 10x14 Kodiak canvas you can have for $450. I used it twice. It's a great tent but after I got it things fell through. Now I need to reassess and that tent is out since I'm basically solo now

I think I am doing this wrong

Yeah I would go with a pop up in your situation. Will last for years until your kid/kids get older and can start helping. Easy and comfortable and probably can get one cheaper than a trailer with a roof top tent.

    Tepui RTT rack width

Yeah I guess I wasn't clear in my post, I would have Yakima load/cross bars on the factory rails. Should be more than adequate. My question was in regards to how long the XL is compared to the length of the 4runner rails and whether or not it would work? Thanks for your time with this

BEST MADE LARGE RTT FOR SOUTHEAST U.S. (HUMIDITY AND HEAVY RAINFALL)

For a family the size of yours and if you needed to stick to a roof top tent instead of going with a camper....I would go with the CVT Mt. Denali with an annex. It's a huge RTT. Get a few cots or mattress pads so some can bed down in the annex and you are set.

    Tepui RTT rack width

Box Rocket and others, what is your opinion on having a Kukenam XL ruggedized on the factory 4Runner roof rails with Yakima crossbars? The tent is 6' long and the factory rack is not so need opinions or experiences with such a long tent on a 4Runner. Thanks

Hard shell RTT in the rain (Attaching an awning)

Maybe use just a cheap 10x20 tarp...Attach one end to the rack with enough slack so the tarp starts by the roof of the tent, lay the tarp over the top of the tent and use two poles with guy lines to make the tarp tight. Hope this makes sense? Simple and easy and don't have to do any mods to...
