Do you have a part number on the that 3500# Dexter axle w/electric brakes and parking brake? Also what width did you go with? Thank you in advance. Awesome build!
I love my 650 Vstrom as well. It's the perfect commuter bike that does it all while being very economical to run. A total blast in the twisties. Yes it is no BMW and thank goodness for that! :ylsmoke:

I have been following your story. You have a lot of experience with vans and always have good reasons for doing the modifications and things to your vehicle of choice. I read why you chose the van you did this time. You seem to be very happy with it. I don't have one yet and am just...
Why doesn't Nissan produce the NV in a four wheel drive model? Doesn't this van have the same drivetrain as the Titan? This would be a great exploration vehicle in four wheel drive. Come on Nissan!

The bag my tent came with has tons of room and everything loads up with ease including extra stakes and the foot print that was bought separate. Still have room for other stuff. The bag also has back pack straps for easy carry. The tent is an REI Base Camp 6.
Have not used it yet because it's being shipped but I just bought this on sale for $140 and then used a 20% discount code for another wall panel. Should be a good shelter based on many reviews and with it being on sale, I could not pass it up. Going to a National Motocross race next week so...
Those Nekeros are pretty cool. I am eventually going to most likely go with these from labrak when I get a rack but still researching. They are small, cheap, and really light the area as you can see from the pic. Pic is from the website...
I bought 3 of these for the kids and I. The little side pocket organizer things never got used so I had a thick elastic strap sewed on them and they double as a seat back organizer in my vehicles...
Excellent! Thanks for the info and pics. Pictures are truly worth a thousand words. I really like how your version of extending the 416 came out. And it's relatively cheap and uncomplicated. I have been researching how to do this for a long time as I do not know how to weld or...
What a great build. Can you please post up detailed pics of what you used to mount the cables too and how it is attached to the receiver tube? Also, how did you run the wiring? Did you cut a hole in the receiver tube and run it back inside of it? Did you run the wires to the box for future...
Jevy, thanks for the insight on the weight and brakes concerns. My LC is 23 years old and does not have 4 wheel disc but I think it will be ok. My trailer will be for weekend trips also and will mainly carry the camping stuff and wood for the fires. I went through a similar situation with my...
Just read through this whole thread. :coffee: Love the build and what an inspiration. Happy your back is doing ok. My 416 is in 100 or so pieces. I really need to get it going. I need to ask you, when your trailer was completely loaded up with the tents and kayaks and everything else, did...
Many options out there. Here are some suggestions. The last ones look to be rock proof. Hope this helps.
