m416, wheel adapters, & bolts instead of lugs....?

I wouldn't know about cutting the lugs down or anything like that but They do make axles with the parking brake feature. Pretty sure Dexter does. I would go that route before using such a thick spacer or doing anything that could fail later on. But I have rarely heard of spacer failure if the...

    M416 Expedition Trailer Build

Actually West I still don't have the axle or my trailer built. It's been a crazy few years and I have not had the time. So yes I am still gathering info and part numbers. :)

    My M416 "build"

Looking forward to this build and need to ask you to Please post up part numbers as you go. What axle is that? Are those new leaf springs? Where did you get the bushings for the suspension? etc...I also have a 4runner. My 416 is in a million pieces. I need many parts on the suspension to get...

    Thoughts on the Beta motorcycles?

Awesome! Thanks for the reviews. Yeah it looks like the Beta's are the real deal, possibly even better than KTM for woods riding. Also Beta is on a mission to be the best out there. Even limiting sales to maintain high quality builds. I'm saving up.

    James Baroud RTT's In Action!

Love the pics but not everyone is listing which model they have. I have a very tall son, he is 6'4", so I do not know which model I should be thinking about getting. I'm leaning towards the Evasion XXL or the Grand Raid. I have a 2016 4runner. Would such a large model tent look silly on the...

    Thoughts on the Beta motorcycles?

Thanks for the info, it's right on par with what I am hearing about them. The closest Beta dealer to me over an hour away but I hear that Beta has a great parts mail-order program. I also like that you can build your bike on line with many great upgrades. The KTM's are big money. I built a...

    Thoughts on the Beta motorcycles?

Anyone have any experience with Beta motorcycles? I have heard good things but have never ridden one or know anyone with one. I am looking at the 2017 Beta 390 RR-S. Thanks.

Glad to hear they now have a model that has windows on all four sides. Enjoy it, it's a great tent.

Hard vs Soft Shell: Read World Efficiency

Thanks for your insight Oregon, I didn't even think about the view on that side. I have a Kodiak canvas tent now so I'm well aware of the mildew and need to dry out issue...in fact its quite the chore with this tent. Hopefully it's not that much of a pain with a RTT. Are you looking to get a...

    Which 4 season tent?

My vote would be for a Kodiak canvas. Of course this would be for car camping. I have a 10x14. Cheaper than most, can stand up in it (which is great if you have to spend a lot of time in the tent), it's durable, and easy to setup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UMdIr8HHgA This next video...

    What is your favorite belt?

The wilderness instructor is the last belt I have purchased. That was six years ago. Still works daily like the day I bought it. http://www.thewilderness.com/belts/

Hard vs Soft Shell: Read World Efficiency

I should have clarified, the annex would only be used for multi-day stays in one spot with family. By myself it will never be deployed. I am currently on the east coast and it rains here all the time. So even without the annex the clam shell will provide some protection during a rain/snow...

Hard vs Soft Shell: Read World Efficiency

Ok so I do not have a roof top tent and never have but I am very interested in this conversation because I simply do not know what to get. Whatever I get it will be mounted to a trailer for a base camp type setup that can also be used to move daily. As far as the Oz tent goes, I think it's...

    Looking for a flashlight

Thrunite is supposedly good also. I just purchased this one last night. I like lights that use a readily available power supply. I do not have any rechargeable lights yet but those are another alternative to check out. I went with the natural light model of the TN4 instead of the cool light...
