Sorry if this has been answered, I've searched online and read several theories without a definitive answer.
I'm going to describe my proposed setup below. In the end, I'm trying to figure out if having the alternator charging the same battery bank as the solar is going to be self defeating...
If you determine it is a fuel pump, you could consider a walbro pump and external filter. I plan to do this, but mainly for better fuel delivery with the supercharger. I'm sure the Toyota fuel pump replacement isn't cheap...
Fuel pressure? If you pump the gas and it comes back, it makes me think there may be a fuel delivery issue. Plugged injectors, plugged fuel filter, weak fuel pump etc.
I've seen a fantastic fan, mounted on the side of rigs. Seems legit, when opened the rain should shed off of the cover. However I don't know how well it would handle driving in the rain or if it would be noisy mounted on its side.
Unfortuantely the truck is in my garage and I'm working in Louisiana until May 6. I'll try to remember to report back here when I get home and get a measurement for you. Right now they're at 35psi. Left the shop at 40 which felt very harsh, dropped to 32 but the tires seemed to wander a...
If you aren't building anything into the bed, definitely bed rug. It is smooth and comfortable, quieter and better insulated than anything else I've used.
Please PM me if this does not sell!
I have a four wheel camper on order but the delivery time keeps getting pushed back, I'm looking for one of these to use for the summer.
Thanks!
Looks good! It almost looks strange mounted low, but obviously doing this allowed you to keep the roof patch in place. I see that four wheel camper normally moves that center latch forward for an awning, and usually it appears that the roof is bowed up in the middle as a result.
I agree! Mine actually drove a lot better before I installed the icon upper control arms, believe it or not. Maybe it is just the uniballs being a little tight, or maybe too much caster I'm not sure. Still very good overall.
Ok just a couple more iPhone pictures I snapped before I go back to work. On level ground without the tires in back.
Spare stuffed. I need to trim the front tabs so it ticks up better.
Tucked back into the garage. There is still some organizing to do in the 3rd bay behind the...
Nearly inaudible but they are brand new. Hard to remember exactly how loud the last couple sets of km2s were on day one, but these seems slightly quieter right now.
Everything is relative though. Coming from stock street tires I only hear these right now, barely at highway speed. But...
Going to be a lot of gray but I think it will look good!
Absolutely. Just an adjustment! I usually get into projects and will work for 10-12 hours plus, skip meals etc to get something finished. So I'm still trying to adjust my expectations. Haha
I was hoping to take my daughter with me on...
Alignment done, rear brake lines installed. Really amazing how little I can accomplish with a baby, and my friends all have kids. Lol
I bought stuff to extend breather tubes for a future date. I also ordered taller timbrens and some spacers to help with the camper weight. If anyone cares...
Nothing much new today! Alignment tomorrow morning. Installed this little exhaust heat shield by the spare tire. Im not sure how effective it will be but hopefully it keeps from melting the new spare tire when it's in!
Then we played with some new shades and took my daughter to the zoo.
