My bad, it is the G63, I am not a G owner so not well informed.

It is shown throughout the movie. I was...
Just watched "Beyond the Reach" with Michael Douglas. G500 6x6 in it, he says, only one in America, $500k without tax. :)
Watch the movie, it is in it a lot and all bling'ed out with overland titanium sporks and things.

Very well sorted Cruiser. I know Jason and this truck. If you are looking for a v8 FJ60 you really should look at this truck. Jason has fixed anything and everything that was an issue on the truck and he didn't cut a single corner doing it.

Thanks guys. I have got to get some very thin rubber sheets and make up some gaskets before I can proceed to much further. The door handles for example need this rubber gasket between them and the body. Since that is a long gone part I will need to make it. In the meantime, wiring harness...
The color for the truck was taken from these pictures. Originally a more deep solid green was discussed. That being a fairly common Patrol color, Roy Rogers green as it is known because the advertising Roy did featured his green Patrol. A lot of Patrols out there that color though and the owner...
One thing that always ruined Rovers for me is that dash. What a hideous lack luster dash. Would dislike looking at it all the time. It seems even more crude and ugly to me than a Willies.

I need to zip on down to Moab for a weekend soon. Been awhile for me. Actually been since 2009 when I was down there with my own truck. I am due!

When I get the truck back and there is more paint on body to see I will post the pic that this color was taken from. it is a Nissan color but not an original 60-series Patrol color.
The owner of the truck has about 8 or 10 canvas samples. I am just waiting on him to decide and then we are a go...
Here is a very nice restored Patrol.

Now the ad claims it is the nicest restored Patrol on the planet. I can guarantee the 64 is going to be nicer! :)

The 64 is headed back to me this week! I am very excited to see it in paint. It is just the tub, floor pans and firewall but still, should be starting to look like a truck again. Wheels have been painted too. XZL tires should be mounted up as well. Originally these had tubes and flaps, so we...

Once I was happy with how clean the inside of the #2 crossmember was I sprayed weld through primer.
I made a re-enforcement plate for inside the cross member. Plate is 1/8" and ya I primed the back side of it too.
Had a few areas that needed to be dealt with in the...
You seen the Front Runner ones that go across the rear seat footwell? I think they work in an 80. Spare tire location is a good location for a tank too.

Awesome! That is what the problem was with my J's. Much more than 6200lbs and they squatted badly. Even the new ones. I got some pretty good stink bug with the 1" spacer in the rear. Was thinking of trying a 1" spacer in front. But I may also try no 1" spacer in the rear. I also been running...
I think the J's are good to about 6,000lbs. I didn't have any complaints with mine until I got heavy. In my opinion though, the Slee's are a much better spring. Best you can get for an 80. Ride is really nice with them. HDP in rear is stiff though and I am at 6200ish lbs. I hear the Slee HDP's...
