I forgot to report back on this since Mike had suggested it almost a year ago. Deflation time has been MUCH improved since removing the deflation check valve. None of my previous self-inflating mats had check valves and so the method of deflating is the same for me as it has always been.
I like my ABR 9000 Ultra lite block but it's not really light at 5.5 lbs. Works for 1/4-1/2"
20k lb work load limit, 38.5k lb breaking strength.
I use it with my M12000 winch. I figured worse case scenario, double line pull would exert 24k lb of force. Logic might be off but that's how I decided.
265 is supposed to be the section width measurement. Some manufactures give the tread width measurement but not many. The section width measurement does change slightly with changes in rim width.
The Black Pine Turbo tent comes in two different types of material. The "Deluxe" version is the cotton-poly "canvas." I'm not sure how it compares to the Jet tent's Poly-Cotton Canvas though.
Pine Deluxe Turbo Tent (poly/cotton blend)...
I think the biggest differences to me would be the size of the largest pot, 6qt vs 4qt and an extra lid. I need the larger pot while others might prefer the smaller.
Cuisinart:
6 Qt. stock pot
2 Qt. sauce pan
10" saute pan
8" saute pan
2 removable universal handles
(1) multi-lid for sauce pan...
My kids have the Ikea SULTAN FLORVÅG foam mattress. They come in twin, full & queen sizes. I find them more comfortable than my Exped Megamats. BUT, I don't know how they would do in cold weather, as in would they get all rock hard.

I checked a few AGM battery companies and most said something to this effect:
(Lifeline Batteries)
6.1 Release of Ignitable Gasses
All lead acid batteries, including VRLA batteries, produce hydrogen and oxygen gases during normal charging. Even though VRLA batteries are designed to recombine...
Just in time, I need more mantles for my Coleman Northstar that uses #95 tube style mantles. Turns out, Peerless doesn't make the tube style. Then checked with American Mantles brand and they DO make the tube style (#900). However, this particular model is the non-thorium, yttrium type. :(

Like everyone else said, lose the cig plug, install an Anderson plug. Instead of going 10 gauge from the battery. Go 8 or 6 gauge to a fused junction box in the rear for future accessories.
As for 12V adapter, I have a Dometic/Waeco CF-50 and have been using this Vector 6amp adapter for a few...
Quick search on the ML350 and Touareg batteries and they are indeed located in the passenger compartment.... but they both have a vent tube that leads to the exterior. Chances of something bad happening are probably very slim but car companies are taking precautions for a reason. I suppose if...
My understanding is most if not all "sealed" batteries still have some sort of pressure relief valve. So, if placing in the passenger compartment, it should be in a box that is vented to the outside. Can't really think of any cars built in the past 5 years that have it's battery in the passenger...
The '00-'02 would probably be okay towing that weight on flat ground. But likely you'll have a full load with the kids, dog and gear. Plus, you might end up adding larger tires and other heavy aftermarket parts. The '03+ LC's 5 speed makes a substantial upgrade in gearing. And the LC didn't get...
Bumping this back up because there are now several dealers for James Baroud RTT's in the US. Also, would like to see that review in post #1 (dead link).
