That shifting issue will go away with gears, I had the same issue. Awesome build btw.

There is a software update for older Aisin trans which improves that. The Aisin is a true medium duty trans, behind the cummins it’s an awesome combo.

Sounds like you got a plan, and a nice set up already. I got the Aisin trans and it did ok with 3:42 gears and 37’s, once I swapped in some 4:30gears it really woke up and is fun to drive, plus towing is much better than stock.

You will not have any complaints with the 16.5! It’s the best winch you can get.

Update, the worlds best off road truck part place, aka CJC Off-road, says they are shipping today, so I’ll post pics hopefully very soon.

They will work, they are the same length as stock. Anything over 3 inches you need a radius arm drop to get the proper caster.

Your truck should have 4:56 gears and the new ones don’t, I would definitely keep what u got.

Nice set up, I love th arb bumper. You got the best winch set up you can buy! If you want to loose some weight in that winch give custom splice and factor55 a call, you would be surprised how heavy that cable is.

Looks good, yes that bumper with the winch is very heavy and hard to manage espically near the radiator. Are you going to do something with the inside of the fenders? I think I would shoot some line x on them. You really need a black grill now!

I hunt and fish, I do not trophy hunt and fish, I do it because that’s how I was raised and I enjoy getting food from nature. I got friends that trophy hunt or go for coyotes, I’m not into that, if I kill it, I eat it.

Install th winch in the bumper then install the bumper, makes it allot easier, I have done it both ways.

Is there a grease zert on the end that fits in the drop bracket? My understanding is that the bushings on the axle stay and are pressed in the axle. I’m guessing I won’t need the strap, stock arms don’t have it and I won’t be jumping the truck. Did u notice any difference with the carli arms...
