Mike,
How much additional water do you carry? A couple jerry cans on the rear bumper? I'd love to see a couple more pics of those three Summits in that camp!
Where did you take these pics? Beautiful spot for sure.

Thanks for the great write up and pics. Showed the pics to SWMBO and now she says she is willing to drive down there with me if we can find another trailer tugging ROF couple to join us. My gratitude senor.
I think we saw you driving north of Seattle on the interstate yesterday afternoon! We’re in Kirkland area for the week celebrating our daughter-in-law’s birthday. That is a really nice setup you have. And it was a joy seeing another MO rig being used.
hope you have a great weekend!
MIke, looks like a kit. where did you get it? Wondering if they make one for the older model stove like the one I have. the glass covers have never impressed me that much. always waiting for an accident to happen.

My hiking and overlanding buddy Kent and I have started our springtime hiking regimen. Trying to get back in shape for long days behind the wheel. Kent will be doing the HOTW this September with me. SWMBO has declined to come with. :(
Yesterday we did a nice five mile hike in the Turnbull...
Mike, great article on the Macgruder Corridor. I’ve done it 3 times, but never pulling a trailer. About 10 years ago Nanc and I attended a ADV dual sport motorcycle event in Darby. I love that country!
Wow! It has been awhile! How are you and Otis doing? Any more rallys in the past year?
Nanc and I will be around a lot this summer. My big plans are for doing the OBCDR with a small group that Richard Hamilton is putting together. that will be near the end of June/early July. I will be...
I have for many years used a Trasheroo brand garbage container lashed to my spare tire. I was very satisfied with it. But by the end of last year's camping activities UV had rotted it to the point of disintegration. It was literally falling apart as I was unloading it for the last time.
Does...
I pulled the Beastie into the back yard so I could keep getting it ready for travel. I wanted to get everything open and ensure that all was in working order. I had Mark install one of the original Darche 270 deg. awnings when I purchased Beastie from him. The awning is fabulous, especially...
I went back about a half dozen pages to ensure that I hadn't posted this before. Old Geezer's attention deficit syndrome and all. Couldn't find anything so here goes. I really like the Lagun table mount I recently installed. It is moveable and allows a lot more leg room under the table. But...
Bidets seem to be pretty popular all of a sudden. My son and his wife recently installed one in their bathroom. Last night, Nanc and I were over to some friends for dinner (Think God for Covid shots!!). They are in the process of renovating one of their bathrooms. The lady of the house...
I hope you don't think that I was judging you or anyone else. Perhaps because of this extended home lockdown I'm finding perverse humor in the subjects we are discussing.
I'm guessing that sometime soon you'll be able to get back over the border. Can you wait 'til then? Come on down, do some camping, and pick up the new potti.
Looks lik the sheep dip can was made into an improvised fire pit with all those slices through the metal on the lower sides of the can.
it is easy to see that you are an engineer by your camp setup. ?
