Added the last part of my synergy steering upgrades, their drag link.

Here you go. I'm 6' for reference, standing with one foot on the folded seat, one in the "trunk". With a flat floor (no seats) it would be very comfortable. My wife may now be joining me on my Utah trip, and I'm considering removing the seats making a flat floor with storage under the foot...

Seems a little patched together and hoaky from the pictures, but that's me. Armored with steel and fiberglass (and soft sides). I'd rather have a unimog or something. But I guess that is one way to get a bunch of free gear from "sponsors".

If nobody does, I'll try to do that when I get home next week. With the rear seat folded, there's enough room to wiggle out of a wetsuit, but your feet will want to be right in the gap behind the seat. Or you can stand on the seat. Either way it would work okay, although it would be easier...

Straying off topic here, but I think they are often just as bad. The frames aren't designed to carry the weight in that spot I think. Happens on a lot other trucks too. Heavier springs or helper springs that keep the weight on the factory spring hangers/shackles are probably the best thing...

Eight speed auto from Chrysler? Good god what a nightmare in the making! Seriously though, this pop-up looks good and very practical. Glad to see someone finally going this route in the states.

I trimmed mine (jku), and stuffed some RTV sealant in there. Then I painted the area flat black. Some others I read have used JB weld in the small hole left behind. FYI if you use a cutoff wheel, beware of the expanding foam behind the pinch seam. It gets hot and smokes easily, the stuff...

I got the same whistling noise from the a pillar. Poking the right spot in the seal was an on off switch too. I picked up some adhesive backed foam/rubber weatherstripping and stuck it under the factory seal to tighten it up. Took a little trial and error but its better now.

I really wish I could hit overland expo too. I have to put in for vacation in October, for the next year, and totally missed it! Will have to pay attention more next year.

Shifted like crap from day one. Pops out of fourth gear, grinds into fourth, etc. Bad synchros or something I suppose. Super common apparently. Lots of people having theirs rebuilt with low miles.

Dropped off my 9k mile 2012 for the first transmission rebuild of the six speed trans. Also ordered a synergy drag link to complete the front end overhaul with synergy ball joints, tie rod, track bar, sector shaft brace etc.
