    Soft sides in windy conditions

Stay away from palomino and similar. The soft sides are junk and poorly velcroed on. I've stood in a brand new one with a 10-15 knot breeze and it was breezy inside, and noisy as the sides were flapping around. After 10-15 minutes of messing with the sides to see if it could be quiet I left...

    Woke up in it.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Thanks. It's on my "maybe" list. I figured I'd try to rotate the disconnect and see how it looks before ordering skid plate. I think I left enough of the lower crash bar to bolt it to should I decide to order it later. Now I'm wondering if I should just them flush with the frame and call it...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Installed my expedition one front bumper, orfab vacuum pump relocation kit, warn zeon 10-s winch, and an EVO no limits manual sway bar disconnect. The manual sway bar disconnect is super basic, it replaces the the electronic sway bar disconnect. Why? The electric disconnect can only be used...

    Habitat Owner's Thread

I don't feel like I lost any headroom in my j30. Check out the last few pages of the Ursa Minor thread. I posted pictures of the overhead organizer (assuming they come the same in either variety).

Ford, Mercury and Mazda Owners: Let's see your Rigs

The 94 I recently had was really clean, but unknown mileage. And based on receipts the previous owner left he recently rolled it back even though it didnt have the hundred thousand number. I took it to Louisiana where I work, had a lot of mechanical problems (mostly cooling system) that I...

Thanks. Was that the factory antenna relocated or an aftermarket antenna? I guess I'll email John and see if he will do anything. If I can just pick up an antenna and plug it in I'm fine with that, not sure if that is the case with the over complicated jeep electrical system.

Yes, small compressible sleeping bags should fit. My wife bought a massive two person bag that didnt fit, but our mummy bags fit just fine.

Okay so a Friday meet probably wouldn't work for many people. How about Saturday, April 27, mid-late morning around Portland somewhere? I decided not to go wheeling that weekend anyway, short time at home and I have other projects to complete before I take my long vacation in June.

    AEV 2.5" lift install

Check out expedition one bumpers for a quality option that looks good, and isn't on every other jeep you'll pass on the road. Their website had an ad for free shipping before Easter, I called the other day and asked if they would still ship for free and they did, trail series front bumper on...

    Fluke?

8k for a 16-17 year old Jeep Cherokee? I don't think so. It looks clean in the pictures, but even IF the miles are truly that low, lots of things wear out with age. I feel like it wouldn't have sold for $8k, ten years ago?

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

Those of you who wanted to check out the top, would Friday morning work on April 26? Either that or the afternoon on Sunday the 28th? My schedule filled up with extra training days and some four wheeling/camping trips, beyond that weekend the next good opportunity will probably be in June.

Amy, I think you'll be alright as long as you don't get crazy with wheels, tires and suspension. The stock setups work well if you don't mess with them a lot. When you start getting crazy, every modification affects another part. But if you keep the suspension and tires mostly stock it should...

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

Not a problem, let me know. Like I said I do work out state the majority of the time. I'll be around the last week of April, and a few days in the beginning of May. Plans are to travel most of June with no hard plans as of yet. Only the panels are designed to be removed. You would have to...

I'd be happy to show anyone who is interested. Unfortunately I leave for work Wednesday morning and will be gone for two weeks. I'll be back after April 26 for at least a week and a half if anyone wants to check it out.
