You would have to look at current laws but I believe in California, as long as the emissions are intact, it is the engine that came in the vehicle, it is over a certain number of miles and it passes their Diesel smog check you shouldn't have any issues.
Found this on the wrangler forum. According to the forum it is listed in the owners manual between pg 20 - 25 depending on year. Mine was through the EVIC so was pretty easy.
Sound Horn On Lock
This feature will cause the horn to chirp when the doors
are locked with the RKE transmitter. This...
There is a setting in the menu for horn and lights with starting I am pretty sure. I have a 2012 with remote start and it definitely does not honk when I start it, I played with all the settings when I bought it so I don't remember how I did it but it can be done.
Rears are probably good but IIRC ones that looked similar to the front were known to cause problems. I believe they are referred to as OTT lifts and that type of lift destroys struts (strut bottoming out before upper a-arm contacts bump stop). Lot of info if you Google OTT and jeep liberty...
If you haven't already you might take a look at https://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/
Lot of discussion on 2020 vs 2019. Transmission seems to irk some plus discussion the fuel injection methods. I don't know enough to say either way but interesting insight.
The guy on Venture 4wd/ursa minor jeep had a gas heater installed and the installer plumbed the exhaust into the jeep's exhaust/muffler, maybe that would help?

Post 67 shows how I modified mine for more ease of transfer. The pictured one is aev but I did the same to the titan.
I have one on my Jeep, it is a great product but it definitely makes the tire stick out further. I have it on a Aev carrier and have had no issues. The road chose me/Dan had one on his Jeep and drove around Africa with no issues.
I often wonder about this too, and if I had more time and money this would be something I would pursue. One thing I really wish jeep still had is a removable roll bar (think cj 7/8) so that you could make it more modular

Not sure if you saw his thread/if this is what you are looking for.
That is probably the dynamic load, i.e. weight on the rack going down the road. Static weight i.e. not moving is usually 3 times that amount. So you are close to 800 lbs for that weight (~150 rtt + 650 for people, etc)
Search youtube and you will find plenty of how to videos. I think most are fairly easy projects with the transmission being the messiest but only you know your skills. I would also price out the fluids, gaskets, brake pads, etc to compare the cost.
Nothing specific that I can think of.

Will probably have a lot more info for you.
Wasn't much on the Frontier forums. Found this on the xterra forum:

Doesn't sound like anyone has done it yet although they reference a similar swap between a Titan and a Armada that seemed to work ok.
