What is the height of rack + tent?

Usually weight ratings on racks are dynamic load, i.e. 165lbs going 70mph down the road. The static number is usually much higher (around 2-3x, from what I have seen). I would contact the manufacturer and ask about the static vs dynamic load.

+1 on airbags. They are cheap and I have used them on all my Jeeps, even when lifted.

Could the mount be angled? I personally wouldn't mind it being high but I can't speak for others. Already have mounts on the back tire, but I use the rampage storage cans more than I do fuel so I can always use more storage. Thanks for the feedback!

I have the driver side rotopax and window on passenger. Don't regret either, pretty sure I would have had at least one accident without the window. I stuff mine full on trips but the other 90% of the time the window saves my rear end.

A little, the switch has a little red light on it to let you know it is activated. Should be very minuscule though

John will help you out but as mentioned it is a small shop and he gets very busy. It certainly is not for a lack of caring or customer service. I have had similar experiences but in the end he has always come through. I recommend calling or emailing on a regular so that it is on the top of list.

Did you have to take the ladder off because of the bumper/tire carrier or did you take it off for some other reason?

It will work, but the charger got very hot when I did it that way. Some of that had to do with the cramped spaces of the Jeep, but was still warmer than expected in the wide open of my living room.

When the factory doesn't charge me $40k on the sticker price I am happy to do that. With the price I paid I expect a little better quality. Understand that is me. I am just answering the title of the post.
