Try sourcing a dual filler neck from one of the Frontrunner vendors. It would be much cheaper than OEM.

    ARB Fridge question

Most of the comments on this thread are from users using the transit bag on older ARB/Engel fridges. I am "guessing" the new ARB fridge is better insulated and thus might not benefit as much from a TB as the older fridges.

Show me your maggioline roof tends...

Mike, as seen here, it would be nice if these simple elastic bands came with the Maggiolina for easy closure. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=544532&postcount=56

FrontRunner G-Wagens: The ultimate expedition G

That's a great idea with the rubber band around the maggiolina! Less hopping from side to side tucking in the canvas!

Camping Lab Roof Top Tent Review

Just a couple points when mounting the RTT to open over the tailgate: -the liftgate on my LX470 couldn't open up all the way without the rear wiper hitting the bottom of the tent, so the liftgate would need to be tied down. -the width of the tent when mounted in that orientation might be too...

    Loving the LX Cruiser

Change the emblems to Toyota and call it is a Land Cruiser Cygnus... as that is what it really is.

Think I've found my Hundy only it's a Lexus

Vic, also worth mentioning, the suspension can be completely swapped out for traditional components. One can go Old Man Emu and a differential drop kit for $1k plus labor.

95-97 went to using a MAF sensor. 93-94 had the so-called "bus transmission."

    100 Series wheel question

Yes, no clearance issues. You can swap any of the OEM wheels on the LC or LX470 from 1998-2007. 16,17 and 18".

Think I've found my Hundy only it's a Lexus

Congrats! A few things you can do to reduce the possibility of breaking at some point: -Have the dealership disable the auto-retract steering wheel feature. PM me if you need instructions. -Leave the side mirror toggle in the middle position so it doesn't tilt down the mirrors every time you...

Think I've found my Hundy only it's a Lexus

CSG, since you in the market for a 2002-2006, I'd say spend the extra and go for something 2003+. As for this 2002 LX, there are a lot of nice added features over the LC in the early years. Halogen Projector headlights Memory seats Softer Leather Powered fold in side view mirrors Home Link...

    New Stove from Brunton

I have the Coleman Max as well and would not recommend it for grilling. It heats very unevenly. I have not found the perfect gas grill yet but my Solaire Anywhere Grill comes, by far, the closest, albeit expensive. I'm sold on the infrared burner.

I would go with the 285's as well. Toyo MT's are quite heavy as they are.

    New Truck

This is the AUS/Middle East OEM airbox and the associated plumbing. Also you would need to relocate the PS fluid reservoir. The part numbers are also in there somewhere. Your engine cover would need to be removed or modded. As for parts source, try Cruiserdan at American Toyota. He can get...

    New Truck

Factory rack is easy to remove. Pop off the plastic end caps with your bare hand and unscrew the torx bolts. Just a couple comments on your build plans... it is difficult to find a location for a full sized 2nd battery under the hood but if you remove the AHC and its pump, Slee sells a battery...

    99 or 2000 LC

If you live and travel where there is a lot of snow and ice (which I think you might), I'd go with the 2000. I would also add the cost of an ARB front locker to the purchase price no matter which year.
