make a tilt rack that sits on cab top so it can be tilted 4 way. In drive mode tilt end up facing habitat..... tada..... cab roof wing/air deflector; giving you improved air flow increasing your aerodynamics. If you do NOT intend for any solar charging while driving...... then put a...
this is exactly what I have..... guess I did not describe it well.... will add "top loading" to original post so it makes more since. Just called it a fridge/cooler for lack of a better term in original post. Doubt you could just pick it up when full. Its not little; for it is one of the...
am thinking this way too. Got a vintage kitchen with sink, LP stove top, metal oven box etc. to fit this bill. . Hoping can figure out a way to pull the Huge Top Loading fridge/cooler out from inside thru a outer storage compartment too.... but not figured any remote way to do that yet...
IMHO go with a Sherpa 24k winch or two 12k alongside to each other. 18k is not enough tug IMHO for these trucks. Sherpa has good sound reputation in OZ and now that they are reaching out worldwide; their price is presently real good.
disagree.... captured spring mounts keep it much lower... but do agree with you that Idahsho's set up is one of the most compressed 3pt pivots I've seen. confused though.... IdahSho.... your pivot at the rear appears to sit a good bit lower than the fixed points at the front... maybe that...
with the range of 450-500 would think that would be wide enough swing for inaccuracy??? 600lb torque wrench??? eee gads...... you could have bought a crap load of fuel to take more trips for cost of that kind of accuracy lol .
its a math formula.... no test stand needed..... just a math inclined person (which Im not). Seems to me you just convert the required torque figure by 1/66th (0.015151515) and set your torque wrench to that if your measuring thru the torque multiplier when still attached to nut/bolt. With a...
a misspelled Halfy (gotta love auto correct) aka.... Halfy aka nick name for Haflinger; aka. I mixed up the name again between Halfy and Pinz/Pinzgauer :giggle: . Halfy's squash lot easier than Pinz's though. for Both the strongest is the Ambo versions.
my not so stock TJ (but stock roll bar) and myself along my best friend Jake (yellow lab) rolled of a bank after sliding on ice on I5 at black butte two and three quarter times ... no injuries.. pulled the roll bar back the one inch it moved forward with hydraulic body shop system, got a new...
aren't those things real good for being a death trap if you put it on its top...... if so... if you never put it on its top and all is good!!!! I'de take one even with that.
got a bunch of things on black friday sale.... cheap frills you might say.... and a few neccissaries.....
arm rest- door side and Inside .... along with a pad for door side
camper stove and kitchen ware - Since recently got an unplanned vintage camper oven and cook top w/range hood (LP)...
what have you..... if anything done to theme that may have netted a reduction in nose and clattering while driving.... or could you not hear it while driving if it did rattle to high heaven anyway? Any noise issues when camping....
New update..... she is back to driving on both axles.
Failed to mention we already swapped in an upgraded third member into the front axle (Remember truck is military with AWD and 4x4 ( LMTV M1078) the upgraded third member has a better axle ratio. Not perfect by a long shut but better...
