    New to me 2013 Xeterra!

Looks like you've got the fundamental upgrades figured out. If you're going to wheel it, the first upgrade needs to be a front skid plate, either from hefty or shrockworks. The front diff is extremely vurenable to damage. Other than that maybe some sliders and then enjoy your rig. The Xterra is...

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

How many miles do you have on your tires now? We are both running 265/75r16, just curious how they are holding up.

2011 Nissan Frontier Pro 4x Build

Leaking OME Strut Passenger side OME strut is losing fluid. I contacted Nisstec and they said that some fluid loss is normal, really? The driver side is dry as a bone. Anyway, I'm having them install the ARB compressor in a couple of weeks and they said that they will look at it to see if its...

    Another Ignorant AGM Battery Question

I just purchased a Group 35 X2 Power Series battery from batteries plus, apparently a rebadged NorthStar, which I've read good things about. I'm trying to get away with running a fridge without getting a specific house battery. If it comes down to it, I'll bit the bullet and get the national...

    Smelling Coolant

I took it in and had the coolant system pressure checked and as I suspected everything tested fine. They went through the whole system and said that it was in excellent shape. The mechanics guess was as good as ours as to whats wrong, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

    Smelling Coolant

2011 Nissan Frontier Prox I've noticed that recently when I drive the truck to operating temp I start to smell coolant, Its coming from the engine bay only, not through the vents, and I can't smell it in the truck. I've checked the radiator fluid several times, both cold and hot, and it is...

    1997 Explorer Build

The evolution of a rig...I know it well. I like what you've done thus far, and it's a great way to get your family outdoors. The 2nd gen explorers are overall fairly reliable trucks. I think a rear locker and cradle winch are in your future. Keep it up!

    Our Frontier With Truck Camper

At that weight you're pushing a good bit over GVWR when loaded up with the family, you might want to consider air bags. I wish I had the long bed....nice truck.

    Our Frontier With Truck Camper

Comfortable setup. What does the slide in weigh? Do you have an auto or stick? As for the bikes, with airbags, the extra 50 pounds should'nt make a noticable difference, but having them on the front would be ideal.

Schrockworks Engine Skid Perfect Shape w/ Powder Coat For Sale Denver Area $75

Yes, $30 for all 3. The transfer case skid has some scuffs, and they have been moved around my garage, but they got taken off the truck with only 28,000 miles on it. I would say they are in very good shape.
