We got to pick up our camper on Thursday. This thing is awesome and everybody at OVRLND did a great job. I'm hoping to have the majority of the interior build done by next weekend. I'll post some better pictures as it progresses.
AT overland claims the base weight is 360 lbs. I'd guess it's around 450 for this model.
It does have an extension for the bed to make it 80" long and it still has a ton of open space to access the bed unlike a GFC.
It's getting replaced by an OVRLND flatbed camper.
Can you tell me what size bolts they used to bolt the camper down to your bed? I am going to need to build extended plates with nuts welded to them so I won't have to pull my under bed boxes for the install but I want to make sure I use the right size.
I've thought about adding a side entry door to ours after we get it, but it won't really add anything to the layout we are going for. My factory bed was around 450lbs if I remember right, and my old bumper and swingouts were another 250lbs plus all the weight was behind the rear axle. The new...
Yeah I've been blown away by their openness to try new stuff on the camper. They are putting in floor joists so I can put a floor in it and make it a sealed unit unit when it's off the truck.
I'll have a hatch on the passenger side that will flip up and a drop down hatch on the driver side as...
I'll definitely be posting more pictures when we get the camper. I am the owner of SOB Fabrication here in NM and we built the bed and roof rack here in the shop. The roof rack was built around my AT Atlas camper originally and I am going to have to extend it when I get the new camper on.
We're north of Ruidoso by Nogal so we were out of the path of the fire. It was really bad in a few neighborhoods. It was always one of the realities for this area and people have been doing sand tables and exercises for that exact scenario for 50 years here. The majority of Ruidoso was not...
We have an OVRLND camper that should be done in a few weeks that we're super excited for. The guys at OVRLND are going above and beyond doing some custom stuff for us. It'll be living on a flat bed tundra.
SOLD
I am trying to sell an AT Overland Atlas for the 5.5' bed tundra. I believe this camper also fits the 5.5' bed f-150 as well.
