Great looking bike!~ I think the 1100's make the best hacks. Lower geared and a bit easier to work on. Have tons of fun on that rig friend.

Nothing happening here, so will toss in a pic I just took this morning. The folks denigrating hacks just don't get it. Different strokes for different folks! Dale

    MY DL650 sidecar setup

It's getting warm up here! Upper 80's and higher. So, early this morning took wifey out for brunch. She really enjoys riding in the hack on back country roads. Very nervous about highways and in-town traffic. This is fine with me because we can check out new back roads together.

Nice writeup. Like seeing the NP stamp book in your daughter's hand. Great to start them early.

Yes, you are correct. But SWMBO is afraid of her own shadow, and I truly enjoy having her with me. So you know how this story will end. Having said that, I am having trouble finding something that works as well as my little trailer. And it is paid for!

    Little Tarheel II install questions

HI Dave, Thanks for the reply and the pics. My ARB bumper also has those welded on tabs. I like them for the VHF/UHF antenna, but also wanted something else for the Little Tarheel II. I really like your home brew mount. May have to give that a try. Dale

    Little Tarheel II install questions

Thanks for the comments guys. Yea, I know bonding the hood will be a PITA, but think it may be worth the try. I will probably be doing most of my HF work with the car off sittng on a hilltop or something similar, ha ha. Both of the articles are excellent and relevant. With the manner that...

    Little Tarheel II install questions

Several months ago I picked up an Icom IC-7100. This is a great little radio! Much better than the old IC-707MKIIG I owned looooong ago. I am planning on removing my IC-207H from my 5th Gen 4Runner and installing the new Icom in its place. I also just picked up a nice used Little Tarheel II...
