    Dexter 3500# axle spindle nut retaining ring HELP!

    I always mount mine in washer, gold ring and nut. Then once tight, I fold the wings of the gold ring so the nut will not losen. Just one wing folded is good and when you want want to relase, you open the wing with a flat screew driver or a chisel.
