How would you outfit this custom LJ?

I think that he either forgot or does not know the the controle box as a cable remote that get you away from possible injuries. Or at least a little off to the side or to the driver position. By personal experience, Since you plan to go with 2 possible winch location, I would suggest that you...

How would you outfit this custom LJ?

And no reason why the plate you have should work, since many have winch imstalled with factory bumper. Perso, I also use the sway bars bolts holes on top of the hooks bolts.

How would you outfit this custom LJ?

The only draw back I see with this standard installation, is the the winch become very foward in position. I have seen, but do not have pics here of it and have no clues where ai would now find them, that the tube were mounted verticaly under the winch plate. And it was at the same final...

From what I remember, they were by pair. I purchased a set that was locking and a set that was not and mixed them when I did my installation. And in the pics, they do show a set in the pics. And I have just found my last order, and it said sold in pair. Product Number: H-8434 Product Name...

Sure-Fire Ways to Improve Your Roof Top Tent

@VicMackey , I think your first assomption is right. I have and ARB, and I sleep with open windows most of the time. I have never had issues with humidity under my matress. Never ever. Always dry as a white desert bone when I close it up. And no air spacer of any kind. The matress is...

    Kitchen Kit/Chuck Box

The fiberglass in flat surface would only give strengh for impact protection. Nothing in stifness. The tapped corner like he did is just great! I have personnaly used 3/8" birch ply for my drawer sytem in the back of my jeep and just love it. Lighter and just as much space saved for storage...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

If you tarp the boat, it could help a bit. But I also dought that you get good gas consumption with that vintage envirude. :)

Sure-Fire Ways to Improve Your Roof Top Tent

I have never had problems with mine. Have an ARB pilbara. But always sleep with plenty of open window. Slept in very cold nights, like way below freezing. In y mind, the matress is thick enough and in direct contact with the floor, so condensation is coming more fron the tent fabric side...

Who is using Goal Zero Yeti to power your fridge?

Way to expensive in my mine when I can power my ARB from my jeep battery for 4 days w/o having it run. And I would go with a dual battery set-up way before bying a goal zero.

Nice! Question. Are you still building it? 6000 lbs leaf is pretty stiff if you only plan to have camping stuff in there. I have 3500 lbs axle and suspension on mine, and I have to tell you that when I am in camping mode, my stuff get bounce big time. I now have to work on my tent since it...
