    Teardrop Dilemma

What is nice about galvenisation, is that the frame is dipped in a bath, so inside and outside are protected and the result is extremely durable over a very very long time. As for Charlevoix, nope, not the same region. Lol. It is Charlevoix Quebec. But I did ski before in northern michigan in...

The principle of insulation is the same for everything, from house to vehicule to sleeping bag. What keep you warm is the hability to trap the largest layer of air and make so that it does not move. So a hous built in the same manner, that as 1 inch of insulation, will not be as efficient as...

I have used 3/8 russian birch plywood that I thinh has 5 or more layers. The reduce thickness make it that you save space (more storage space inside and outside the unit) and thecniccaly less weight. But still plenty strong. Used it in my LJ wrangler for more than 3 years now.

    Kayaking in the Arctic Ocean

Well, first, he did not mentionned that he was planning an expedition, but my understanding is that he was going more for a winner circle lap. Kayaking in the Arctic Ocean

The difference between spring and summer up there is not really water temperature, but is ice or no ice on the water. Much harder amd dangerous to manouver around ice patch and blocks than open water. You do not push on ice block with a kayak and since your but is at water level, you dod not...

I was running 4,56 with my 4.0L 5 sp manual. When on 35", it was not that great on roads and gojng up-hills. And had to be patient with my off-road trailer. But is was good on 33". I was swithching from 33" to 35 between road and trails. The TJ will be getting the 4,56 but will always be on...

I have to say, I am a bit puzzuled by the reall efficiency of this mod, relatively to the rest of the tent material. You are unsulating the portion of the tent that is already to most insulatated sufrace of the tent. I do not know about your tent, but I know that my ARB have a styrofoam...
