I've talked to the guy. I'm only 3 hours away. He told me it had a 3.7. It says Ecoboost on the back. A Quigley conversion is not $20k. They are $13,500.
Way overpriced.
I've been looking at the Ford Transit for awhile. I cant decide on the 3.5 eco or the 3.7. I can find used 3.7s for way cheaper. My plans would be a Quigley 4wd upgrade, 2" lift and 265s down the road. I wont be towing anything. It will just be used for overnighters and as a DAILY driver...
Thinking about selling mine. 2006 AWD with Traxda lift, Bilsteins, and suburban 3/4 ton springs. Full sound system with DVD in dash and rear fold down. 133k miles and always maintained by Chevy dealership. Id drive it anywhere. 275/7017 BFGs. $14,500
$900 can buy a lot of WD-40 and elbow grease. lol
I'm currently running 265s in the winter and soon 285s in the sumer. How hard would it be on the van to run a 265 spare with 285s?
I haven't tried yet. I bought the 275/70/17s used for $240 to make sure they would fit. When I get 285s, Ill try one of the 275s in the spare location.
Traxda, Bilsteins, and suburban leafs on my 2006 AWD. Drives better than stock. 265/75/16 studded snow tires on now. I have some BFG AT 275/70/17s on chrome Gunners for the summer.
Finally got the Traxda keys, Bilstein shocks and suburban leafs on. I got 4" in the front and 5" in the rear. It sits 2" higher in the back than the front, but I think it will settle a little. Sorry for the bad pics, but its below zero outside. Currently running 265/75/16 studded snow tires...
All 4 extended Bilstein shocks and suburban springs are ordered. I have the Traxda Kit that I bought awhile back but never installed. I should be lifted in a week. I can hardly wait. I have a set of BFG AT 275/70/17s waiting to go on too. Thanks for all the help and info.
