    Oil cooler housing part number?

Thanks!!! It does really suck that FCA produced such a crappy part in the first place. Ugh. I can live with this as a 5-6 year consumable, but it shouldn't be the case. Instead, I would make the investment in a high quality replacement part, if there was one.

    Oil cooler housing part number?

I didn't want to start a new thread ... but, my oil cooler died yesterday. All things considered, I think I was pretty lucky to get 75K on the original 2014 oil cooler. Anyhow, my Jeep is at my local mechanic awaiting repair. Spark plugs will be replaced too. Now, hopefully this new part will...

    Eddie Bauer pants on sale

Interesting about retail outlets. The sale seems to be an annual event, or at least as I recall. Anyhow, hope you are wrong. But, wouldn't surprise me. True sizing, in my experience.

These are fantastic pants, but why do you think that EB plans to discontinue the line?

    Favorite Multi-tool

Holy necroposting batman, j/k :) I have a collection of Leatherman tools, dating back to an original PST, and have a 1st Gen Wave on me right now. I don't leave home without it. I give Leatherman tools for graduations, Bar Mitzvahs, Confirmations, etc. Big fan of them.

Towing with a 2 Door JL

Buy the 2 door. Rent a truck when you need to tow. Or, is the towing entirely weather dependent?

Opinions Solicited......Another Head Scratching Mid Size Truck Choice Thread

Sorry for the OT ... But, Dostoyevsky ... good stuff this reference. Your posts are fun in an uber-nerd-sortaway. :) Have you read "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" yet, or does the Bambino eat up all your free time?

Are you familiar with Todd's guide. He provides good trail detail, but proves your point about difficulty. I use him as a reference for trail information, but completely discount his time/difficulty ratings. Maybe this guy is some sort of uber-gifted professional athlete type, but I could not...

Yeah. We used Paracord to pull packs up a technical schute when climbing out of 75 Mile Canyon; the ascent of the massive outcrop which then becomes Papago Slide.

A round trip day hike on SK or BA is a bad enough idea. The unmaintained trails... Ugh. Crazy. I saw this video sometime ago, and it presents a cautionary tale. I believe he dumped his gear at some point on his ascent. I know folks that are okay with finishing a hike dry, and will even...

I have yet to tackle Hance and Buchard, either down or up. As to which is worse; lore has it six or half-dozen. I have heard horror stories of both, regardless of ascent or descent. So yeah, maybe in my future. But today I will live vicariously through you guys. ??

@TripLeader - excellent photography as always. Sorry that you guys didn't make it to the Confluence. There is always a next time, tho! We did this trip in 2 parts: The first part was in October 2016: Tanner to Confluence, via Beamer, and ascend in reverse. Our initial plan was to spend night...

    Best warm weather desert tent?

Since you are car camping and weight is not an issue, have you considered a canvas tent. I think you maybe seeking something unobtanium: dust/sun sealing = no ventilation = heat sink. My vote canvas, with closeable vents. Good luck.
