Wouldn't poor range more likely be due to a bad antenna connection or something? I'm assuming there is some sort of receiver the fob transmits to. I bought 2 new ones for my truck as extras and they did nothing for increasing range, which tells me it's at the truck end somewhere and unrelated...
I bought 2 brand new eBay fobs and while they work as advertised and were a piece of cake to program they gave me exactly squat as far as extra range. Of course this is on an 05 super duty but I'd assume the issue is more or less the same, whatever that issue is.
I like having mine. When I first bought it the rear heat kept me warm on my over-nighter driving it back. Had to idle it all night but it beat freezing my nibblets off and I figure the occasional 8-hr idle is cheap compared to an aftermarket heat unit. Same for the A/C. The A/C probably...
Ok not in the bit related to 4x4 anything but.....
I'm sitting in The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company at The City Walk in Orlando and I swear our incredibly cute waitress must be a Bond Girl because her name is...wait for it.......
Toogood.
I don't doubt it a bit. [emoji48]
I'm a wrench turner but not much of a body guy. How much "fit and finish" needs to be done besides standard paint prep? Aftermarket Glass parts have a rep for needing "tweaked" to fit right, and by tweaked I mean I could hit it with a hammer, but not much else. :)
On the phone I'd say normal is like you would hold it in your hand to speak on it. Short side up, button at the bottom. iPad, not sure. To me I always hold that with the button to the right, but it may be that it should be held just like the phone, with the button at the bottom.
I've yet to completely figure out how IOS handles photos. One thing I've heard but not tested is that the problem you describe is dependent on on how the iPad/iPhone was oriented when you took the pic. If you hold it so it's "normal" way up when you take the pic it will show up properly when...
Since it's essentially a street legal tractor this isn't much of a surprise. I can vouch that the cost can add up quick though. And rebuilding one can EAT the time. I've been at mine off and on for years now. Still have the German crate engine in its bag and inside its shipping container...
Mister I think you were born in the wrong country, but it can be fixed. You just need to relocate to south western Tennessee, tweak the accent a bit, start wearing Levis/Wranglers exclusively along with white wife beater muscle shirts, park two of those three Ambos up on blocks in your...
If you have more money than time (or body work skill, like me).
, there's somebody making glass fenders that are already opened way up and also have quite a bit of flare built in. I'm thinking of going that route just for the extra coverage. My tires stick out a fair amount, even with...
I run 12.5 with 6" of lift. My guess is that with those 15" wides you're going to have to do some SERIOUS fender modding to get those to work. I've modded my bumper and some very very miner inner fender work and I still get rub when turned and twisted at the same time. I have more to do.
I...
I'm curious what about your design makes it not DIY? Some special tooling? Computer software for reprogramming electronic whatzits? Just curious because there are folks that consider pull it out of the box and turn it on as DIY, and others that are unfazed by DIY that includes torches and...
For me it's all about proportions. The 31.5s you're talking might look just fine. I'll be interested to see it of course, just like a whole bunch of people. My wife's mini-van isn't going to last forever and the E-series while proven and solid is fast becoming a dinosaur, so a new van is in...
