    2008 Earthroamer for sale

I got more respect for humanity.... while it appears you don't have accurate data.... "neither do I"... but suspect it is between 70% or more of folk who say they will show up with the money.... actually do as they say.

For sale 2015 Fuso/ 2015 Bigfoot 4-Seasons Expedition Vehicle WITH Transferable 20 month/110,000 mile powertrain warranty

This is one of the Travel trailer mounts that looks.... well... less like a travel trailer mount.... that I've seen. Still IMHO someone going this route.... turn the trailer around. Put the flat back end of trailer to the cab. IMHO it would look sooooo much better. A nice little...

From Freightliner ambulance to RV - we hope!

I do not think it is legal to remove your side mirrors. Im considering cameras as you guys have done and small mirrors like those off of a Jeep TJ or KJ. Maybe two on each side; an upper and a lower.

    Are there no moderators here?

getting a sense of it good idea. When you revert back; IMHO, The secret is in the changing the question random # of times each month, at random times of day, random days of the week.

    Are there no moderators here?

You might find with a bulletin board this big the "manually approve" can be a massive job if you don't disseminate the task. Might should consider the "answer question correctly" method of approval and change question often and randomly. Even changing the question and answer several times a...

2000 AEV TraumaHawk on a Freightliner FL-60 conversion

Useless information worthy of ignoring or maybe let it inspire someone else doing an ambulance to camper conversion Part cause of knowledge... (well more like lack of knowledge) about metal working and welding ( I can weld but not great) and part of... why be like everyone else...... and why...

    Are there no moderators here?

I offered several times over the years to moderate a forum..... have now hmm... 15ish years under my belt as a moderator in other places...... they never once responded to my PM's.

    LMTV 1078 Camper build concept

sorta solved door issue. The striker plate..... welll.... while there is slots to adjust it in or out..... the recessed spot the plate sits in though... is not large enough to allow to move it. Little finagling I fudged it enough to move the plate. Had to use all the slot that was available...

    LMTV 1078 Camper build concept

the whole inner panel on the door is pop riveted on so I have no clue if there are nuts on the back of the lock for it is installed between inner panel and outer door skin. I'm guessing there is nuts' otherwise like you say... thief could just unscrew the lock off the door..... but I'll find...

    LMTV 1078 Camper build concept

Much thanks. The Striker Plate is just a flat plate with an angled lip sticking out a tad for the latch to slide over then spring out allowing it to tuck behind it till unlocked and drawn out again. If your asking...... is there adjustment on the plate.. yes... I can move it in deeper and...

    LMTV 1078 Camper build concept

Had a little better weather.. but not the key to compartment doors to get to get inside the one with a list of build data off of... so not sure the year..... but obviously it is old enough to NOT have double latches to meet the newish safety latch regulations...... there is only one latch per...

2000 AEV TraumaHawk on a Freightliner FL-60 conversion

I'm confused. Interior bottom cabinet right? Do you just leave the door hanging open when AC in use. or is that an exterior cabinet??? which would make no since.

Toilet Solution for LONG TERM Overlanding trips

My plan is similar to compost toilet....... married with a incinerator. Simple start with a separating urine/ liquid from solids top into say a pipe that feeds material into a 1/2 gal? paint can. Paper and other ground up material put in first..... take care of business...... . More...

    LMTV 1078 Camper build concept

Will get a pic. No there is not an upper and lower. Just one in the center of this door in same location as the latch. Could be wrong but it appears to be pretty much just like the one I linked to above. This ambo box is of pretty cheap design compared to the others I have seen.

    LMTV 1078 Camper build concept

Thanks but nope.. that is not the one inside this door. Nothing like it at all. It is of the type like https://www.etrailer.com/Enclosed-Trailer-Parts/Redline/L1883.html but better quality. It is Inside the door so not sure if mechanism looks exactly like above link, but it does have this...

    LMTV 1078 Camper build concept

Quick Ambo question on this box about exterior storage doors. How do you tighten a door mechanism? Inside one of my doors the mechanism is loose so the door does not close tightly. When closed it is about 1/4 inch more to go before tight. Other doors have play (lot less though) but close...
