    Kaiju the 4x4 ambulance build

you can always make an outside shelf on back of rig to sit a roof AC on. Then duct air in. Granted one could do that with a window AC unit too. Unconventional...... but if it works.... who cares. Maybe you'll start a fad lol.

    Electric Chain Saw???

electric is all that I use..... but not battery. IMHO they sell battery units at cost or loss to sucker you into having to buy expensive battery replacements for years to come. Granted I'm talking about the house. You got to fuss with extension cords.... but that is heck a lot better than...

U.S. alternative to Seitz top hinged windows

Yeah but you can't walk out thru MS windows screen saver and make a bonfire and shoot the shiat with live breathing people around it.... and cuddle next to it under the stars with a cute love one... The overland camper is part to retreat too when bugs get bad etc. and part to get you and few...

    1994 International 4700 Conversion Begins

Plan for re-sale value though. After years of exciting travel, the ability to sell her to a northerner as well as a southerner is much to your advantage when one considers funds need in the life of aged living.

    1994 International 4700 Conversion Begins

would that not be better up in a cabinet inside the camper... cause of potential freezing? guess you could build a box around it?

U.S. alternative to Seitz top hinged windows

honestly way all this is going in window cost coupled with heat/ac losses. ...... think I'll spend 400 to 1,000 bucks on cameras in various places outside and a big screen and couple med. screens inside with switches to view any of the cameras from any of the screens. Solar LED lights are cheap...

    Portable A/C Unit....Gauging Interest

yeah that is why mentioned in my post that it may not be cost effective for some. Now if one is installing solar, buying batteries etc etc.... then the cost may be good cause you need less panels and batteries to run the AC..... or better said.... you might actually be able to run AC off of...

    Portable A/C Unit....Gauging Interest

build such modification box for an AC that uses a DC Inverter compressor and you got a huge winner for those who will use the unit a lot. If it does not get that much use.... the extra cost of the inverter type may not actually save you money.

ahhh.... closet sized latrine / shower along with sweet hobbit door entry inside with a second near full door outside. Awesome!!! Put an old thick wood look... with wrought iron parts door in the interior to give it a hobbit/elf hatch look . Maybe paint a wood sign that says Keebler to...

BeefCake's build...a roll your own Earthroamerish family expo rig

If you want family safe.... allow no riders in the camper.. only the cab. Travel trailers do NOT have any protection in a crash.. no crumple zones, no crash worthy support members etc. With that in mind... you might consider an internal or external cage on the truck body if not the whole...

    Putt Step Van Build

You missed his use of paracords in his wall racks that also keep the items from rubbing against the walls. Guess that would work in cabinets too if he wanted Drawers.. you have good points
