    Which 255 85 R16 to choose?

Jim - I most like the act that I do not have to worry so much about sidewall cuts. I want to roll, not patch or change tires. The M55s have extra thick rubber in the center tread area as well - good protection from road hazards.

I have dual batteries on both my vehicles. That said, I have run the Engel 45 for a LONG time and never had issues with it drawing down a battery.

    Which 255 85 R16 to choose?

They are not even 1/2 through on the Landcruiser... I expect 50K miles or more with them. They seem to be capable on any surface and I like the way the LC drives with the slightly narrower tire. I had Revos on it in 285-75-R16 and the M55s seem to roll easier - and only slightly noisier. In...

    Which 255 85 R16 to choose?

I have been running the M55 Toyos in 255-85-16 on my 80 series Landcruiser. They have over 30K miles on them and I like them very much for any surface - rain, snow, dirt, sand, whatever. Great tires.

Why does "size matter" in N.America???

I OWN AN F350 7.3L CREW CAB TRUCK. I also own an 80 series Landcruiser. I own other vehicles as well. I/m not obese. Not even fat. I apologize for the over-sized truck. I only use it to tow my Airstream trailer, boats, and to carry my 3-4 bird dogs, water, gear drawers, and miscellaneous gear...

polling maggiolina airtop owners regarding the seal between the shells

I have discussed the Air Top problems that we have seen on a few tents with the factory. Of course, they are Italian and have been on vacation from the week before Christmas until the 9th of January... but they jumped on the issue right away this week. They have been very forth coming with...

    Roof Tent Mounting Options

If you use a foam spacer between the tent mounting surface and the bar, be careful to check that the foam does not become compressed and thus loosen the grip of the clamp system.. This may cause your tent to start shifting while under way. In any case you should check the tent mounts before...

Rack System For Magiollina Extreme and Gobi Stealth

This is the Gobi Stealth rack. Notice the two bars across the top about 1/3 distance in from each end. These make good mounting points.

Rack System For Magiollina Extreme and Gobi Stealth

We have a couple of customers who have mounted their Maggiolinas on Gobi Stealth racks using the Gobi top cross bars. Frenchie LaChance did this on his 4D Wrangler (Magg Extreme) and is very happy with the set-up.

    Watches - ExPo Style

X2 - cost about $70 and is tough. If you smash it up, just toss it and get another. I also have a bunch of diving watches that my wife keeps giving me - a Tag Huer and a couple Omega Sea Masters. The high priced watches are very good, I wear them when I have meetings, etc. ...but the bracelets...

I was traveling in July, August and September and Greg - who is new - was watching the shop.
